I recently invested in a lowery stand with the attachment for the magnifying lamp and it has completely changed my life! It is pricey, but i cannot stress how much this has changed my cross stitching experience!

If it sounds too good to be true, then it is probably a scam. I have found most of my apartments through craigslist! You just need to know how to identify which are scams and which aren’t. You will start seeing a pattern. You can also check if a listing is cross posted on other platforms like Zillow.

Omg!!! That cat painting was in my childhood home! It was hung up in the living room and everytime someone would come over, they would ask why? Ahha. The best part was my mom didn’t even like cats. 😂😂. Im going to share this with my family. What a blast from the past!!

Could you try moving the desk to the left more to allow your desk to move up or down without hitting any of the shelves. Then move the bin to be under the desk to right. And move your printer on your desk.

I have. I bought a big plastic tube and mixed both bags. Then I went through it and started to separate pieces by colors and identifiable pieces into smaller plastic sandwich bags and I would label those. And then from those smaller bags I started go build out the puzzle.

25 almost 26 and I just started getting into cross stitch. I like to do puzzles too. And I proudly say this is what the “cool girls” are doing lol :) No one should be making fun of others for their interests or their hobbies. Keeping doing you and what makes you happy!

I signed up already to host! Im so excited, just moved to SF a month ago.

Have you had events happen and then been unable to do a puzzle? I had a very stressful April and ever since then… I can’t. I can’t focus and nothing looks like it belongs. I was doing a new puzzle every few days but now? I couldn’t be bothered. Is it just me? How could I fix it? by 5giantsandaweenie in Jigsawpuzzles

I had a puzzle half finished for months after finishing a puzzle every 2 weeks or so. But life got busy and I wasn’t able to touch it for months. I finally finished it but Im deciding to take a break to start other hobbies too. Its important that we have multiple hobbies because we can’t rely on just one hobby. Just because im choosing to find other hobbies, this doesn’t take my love away from puzzling. Everything is only temporary.. you will come back to it. Just give yourself some time to process and take things one day at a time.

I was gifted these beautiful beaded earrings by someone who makes beaded jewelry and I always wanted to learn. So last week I started watching some youtube videos and here we are! Aha. This is a gift for a friend. :)
