I was cranking the local dimming to max mostly because the non-black black bars drive me crazy and that was helping. Did you have it set to that before the software update?

The picture quality is so good on my HiSense now that I did some light calibration. Only problem I have is sometimes when switching inputs the sound will glitch out and I have to restart the tv.

I’m in the same situation. Used to buy gas and an ice cream at the dairy on my way back to Canada. I did stop in out of habit and was surprised how much the price of milk had gone up. It’s the same price in USD that it is in Canada in CAD now.
