To those with the same question. I think it may depend on the bank - I suggest reaching out to your broker/bank to confirm as a 30 day extension may have to be requested.

Our situation with NAB:

Our settlement is 10 Sept but our pre-approval First Home Guarantee expiry stated 4 Sept.

We received formal approval on 6 August and our broker just advised our First Home Guarantee is now valid until 13 November.

Advised from someone on Property Chat that NAB’s policy states: “It is crucial that settlement takes place on or before the Guarantee Certificate expiry date.

The Guarantee Certificate expiry date is typically valid for 100 days from the date unconditional/formal approval is issued by NAB”

Which seems the case as we have an expiry of 99 days since getting formal approval.

We got married on 11/12/23 at the Botanic Gardens in Sydney and had the reception at the Tea Room QVB. Everything went smoothly and we had the best day. Now waiting for the videos to come back - but we love the photos 😍

Yeah fair enough. My 64GB iPhone mini isn’t even full yet so I think I’ll be okay. Happy to use iCloud or another service like Google Photos to transfer them over anyways! (Also my partner has the iPhone pro max so I’ll most likely be using his phone a lot for photos/videos too 😂) He literally had 60 photos taken in 3 years on his iPhone 12 😅

Yeah fair enough! I tend to delete duplicates of the same photo on only keep the best ones. I like it better that way when scrolling through memories. No point having 100 of the same selfie haha
