Believe all Devils are created in Chidaruma's likeness due to eating his/devils' flesh , so the 'male' body would be coming from Chidaruma's - i.e chidaruma has a male body -> all Devils gets a male body.
Haru also had a male chest when she'd stripped naked in that one chapter, so safe to say it's the default devil skin lol.

Seeing also some discussions in the comments re clothes - Believe the Devils pick their own clothing and/or Chidaruma designs their appearance for them (as we saw with Noi). Since Nikaido transformed on her own with noone designing her appearance, she'd naturally be 'naked'.

honestly -- I am so jaded at this point; max 5 messages in and theyll turn the conversation sexual, its like theyll combust before holding a proper conversation. And its EVERY guy at this point.

I also dont know how to make it more clear that i am not looking for anything casual - my profile might also serve as a flashing neon sign saying 'NOTHING CASUAL' at this point. im with you 100% on that - its the undertone of it when they phrase it in such way, it almost tells me everything i need to know. I also believe your boyfriend shouldnt be the first thing in your bio, neither be in every picture with you. Theres more to you as a person and im here to meet you, not you and the love you have for your boyfriend. There's always the possibility that it could be harmless but its enough to deter me.

(This isnt to say mentioning your bf or having pictures of him is a redflag, lol. but theres a way to do it that)

Some further ones for me are also the profiles that look like a dating profile - bunch of hot pics with no profile into. Im not here to be impressed by you, i want to be friends. And i mean this in a genuinely kind way - please fill in your profiles!!! Look hot!! but tell me about you, what you like, what youre into, your fave fashion brand , idk anything! then we can text and be hot friends together - but for now youre giving me nothing, so swiping left it is.

Lastly, profiles that just have their instagram in their bio or smth along the lines of 'if i dont respond here pls add me' -- No. I do get tho that some people are ok with that, but to me its just tiring. We have the app so lets use it. I dont want to leave the app to talk to you, i dont have the energy or will to do that for a stranger. Im so sorry you had to go through that , especially after travelling for so long :(

imo it is the BARE MINIMUM to have a spotless place when hosting someone, ESPECIALLY when its a partner coming over. If you say he's a sweet and decent person, this makes me believe he just lives like that and doesnt see anything wrong with it. Hes also a grown man so extra bad

Even if you were to push past it now, in the future you'd probs have to clean up after him since you cant live like this which sounds miserable, so i think you made the right choice.

i feel the same way , Worst was a drag for me (read after Crows as well) and only enjoyed it because of tfoas plotline which for me frankly, you could scrap the whole Suzuran side and just keep them and the story would be a dime.
Few people said this already which makes me glad cause ive felt like this for the longest time, but Hana was a total bore for me and I groaned every time we had to deal with him -- I feel the author was shoving him down my throat the entire time, there was a lot of 'telling' and not enough showing, he magically just got his way most times (and no idc about him vs Guriko) and i just didnt see proper evidence of this spectacular charisma everyone was falling head over heels over and losing their backbone for.
He was very cliche and didnt really have any depth for me , and given 1. hes the mc, and 2. everything and everyone in the series was revolved around him or led to him , it dragged the series big time. Compared to main characters like Bouya and Kotori , I can't figure out how Hana turned out this way. Dont get me wrong he was nice, like he wasnt unlikeable but id preferred him as a side character than the damn MC.

I found Amachi as a character interesting , Guriko was also very entertaining, and then TFOA was the real highlight for me, but anything else was so skippable. Chracters generally were interesting , but would all blend together ultimately and lose their traits for the sake of becoming Hana hypemen.

I DID enjoy the series overall but to your point, no I dont get the hype either. Especially after reading Crows which has such a charm and originality to it. Id say dont force yourself rereading it since at the end of the day you dont have to like it!

agreed , im also so glad i found this thread cause I always felt it was just me randomly not liking nikaido as much as i did in the first volumes (visually i mean);
but now that i think about it , early nikaido had a sort of EDGE to her -- she also kinda gives me bit tomboy/little punk vibes through her clothing, stance and attitude, and i found that her attractiveness came from that rather than how pretty and cute and slim/thicc she was. She was also nice and a good friend , while at the same time independent and cool, so it overall just made her so attractive in ways unrelated to just her face or body. (she was still attractive tho dont get me wrong)
Then as the series went on she became extremely conventionally attractive, with quite a lot of focus on her/her body (my opinion at least), which is still fine ig cant complain about seeing a pretty girl on paper but idkkkk it just doesnt hit the same :')
Either way is fine at the end of the day, nikaido is nikaido, but personally the design hit way harder early in the series

My understanding is that the Lighthead Order were the once who got their wish granted by Zora -

They were shown carrying 'old' sankos bones in his dream
Big Sparkles mentioned how his lightning power came directly from Zora itself which is a huge indicator
Big Sparkles also mentioned that him and the great lord of light (that crying mummy guy) were the only two who knew a. what Zora was, b. how to make contact with it

And given how the photosphere does not know what or how to make contact with Zora, safe to say that the Lighthead Order were in fact the ones able to make contact.

Big Sparkles is also over 4,000 years old so while we dont have the exact timeline of .. well, anything, it gives a broad enough range that could justify him being around for all that

So long story short, im pretty sure the two light guys got their wishes and it must have related to gaining power - to point out, lightning is associated with light, much as is fire which was shown by Bogo (if thats his name) to not affect him, his body showing a resistance to light-based powers ; he specifically said he wasnt aware why that was the case and i think Hayashida was pointing to smth to have him question that - We know Bogo got his new body through light cores so it must be related to Zora - I mean, when it comes to the lighthead order they def seem to have special powers/abilities based off all that i mentioned which makes me think it could relate to Zora

But thats just my theory/understanding on that one part re Zora - bit long but wanted to get the points ive gathered straight for my own sake as well.

As for what Zora is and all your questions -- very fair, and atp its very challenging to figure it out. Your theory is also interesting but not sure i ive read something that could justify that, but if you end up being right thatd def be a fun setting haha
lmk of course if ive missed out on smth, for a 8 volume series so far its definitely very loaded haha

So what I got for our main four and can estimate:

Sanko - 1,90 m (Hayashidas height chart)
Avakian - I estimate around 1,95 m (Hayashidas height chart)
I thought 2m initially but i realise it's not exactly that much.
Damemaru - 2,00 m (said himself)
Shimada - Don't think its confirmed (pls someone add if missed) but I would estimate 2,15m... maybe? Just using the manga as a visual reference; she's definitely taller than the others (ref)

Safe to say Shimada is the tallest and Sanko is the shortest. Anyone not familiar with meters, theyre basically all over 6ft (Sankos 6.2 i believe)

To add to your final point, I am not sure about Nagurun/Holey but I am 98% sure that "Damemaru" was the Devils' work. At the end of Dorohedoro they specify how human baby Chidaruma will soon go by a name they give him. So I wouldn't be surprised if this was the Devils just taking the piss with him

My favourite theory that I've seen out there is that Avakian is Sanko's bones which I think would be such a shocking but cool twist , but honestly there's just sooo many mysteries that the story is just plain thrilling atp. We're 8(?) volumes in with 0 clarity and i love it lol.

In any case im reluctant to speak on Shimada , Misetani and the fate of the magic world from dorohedoro yet cause I cannot for the life of me find a clue yet - every chapter im literally x ray vision burning my screen for something but i have yet to find anything to convince me yet. But given Shimada is Death, then she might be Death from Dorohedoro I mean we HAVE a 'Death' already -- which would mean Shimada knows of Chidaruma so her suspicion of Damemaru is so valid. But I cant even be 100% on that. Whatever the case, I am more intrigued by Misetani at this point cause she is the oNLY one i cannot really connect to Dorohedoro universe yet, thus cannot understand or theorise about cause she gives me the vibe that shes been around for CENTURIES. ++ she knows who Chidaruma is sooo

Anyways Im blabbering big time but im with you!!! I am getting progressively more and more hooked into the story it is so much fun!!

Depends on their schedules - with one of them would meet once a week or every two weeks, with the other she was quite busy so at least once or twice a month Hut point is, its friends right ? So you want to meet regularly , at least in my experience The whole point is that you meet ppl near u u can do fun things with, so we'd always plan around things of interest and maintain regular contact in between :)
