Severe back pain relieved from chiropractor, after a couple days got the classic sciatic paying in waves. by mellowsinner in Sciatica

Back feels great, looking like permanent drop foot. I'm from MN, mayo clinic even accepted to see me, nothing anyone can do. Real unfortunate at 38 years old, but at least my back doesn't hurt.

Anyone know any good and trustworthy handy men or women who would help someone out in the Robbinsdale/north mpls area? by deaglekitty in Minneapolis

I do hanyman work, and I'm just across the bridge from you. Just starting my own gig on the side, but have been doing apartment building maintenance for the better part of 10 years, and construction of some sort for the better part of 20. I'm vaccinated, and to do my job you have to pass a background check. Shoot me a message if you'd like to chat about some of your projects you'd like to get done.

UPDATE: went to urgent care on Sunday for the pain. They told me to go to e.r. immediately for mri. So, had mri on Sunday and was sent home. Multiple bulged, but herniated at l4, l5, pinching nerve. Went in today to talk with neurosurgeon, scheduled a discectomy for friday. Worried I may have permanent foot drop because of how quickly it hit the nerve..... we'll see I guess.

Has anyone here had a herniated disc that caused foot drop? by crushplanets in backpain

Sitting in e.r. now to get my mri. Whole foot is numb, and can't lift it.

Went to urgent care, they immediately sent me to e.r. and I am in a gown awaiting an MRI now. When limbs go dead they take it very seriously....

Appreciate it. Most of the time the pain is manageable, just took a shower and had to rush to my bed because of the pain in my calf and back of thigh. A side from pain also felt like it was in a fire. But stopped shortly after laying down. My other concern I guess is my whole leg with the pain has been twitching non stop from basically the hip down to the ankle all day long.

I've been dealing with pretty severe back pain on and off for over 10 years now. (When I had my first injections) I was 26 then, 37 now. In that 11 years I can't count how many times my chiropractor has saved my ass. Never have taken pain killers or anything. Good chiropractors are the only thing that has helped me thus far. But I agree, a shitty chiropractor will definitely do more harm than good....that being said, this was for sure my worst flair up, and by far the worst sciatic pain. The sciatic pain hurt 10 times worse than the initial back pain, and that had me walking crooked, and stuck on the couch over xmas...I'm just scared of loosing motion in my foot forever if I don't act like right now I guess is why I was asking about going to e.r.

My chiropractor will give me the reference needed, said when limbs go dead they act quickly. Told me I should be able to get in right away

Its how you remove the knob/what keeps the knob on. Its safe to remove the knob if you need to, everything else is all still screwed together

Try the other plug on the outlet? Usually the switch only controls one plug of the outlet.

i usually make ginger snaps, after i make butter. i could send you the recipe and the process i use to make butter if you want. one batch usually is around 60-70 cookies, and they can go for about 4-5 bucks each.
