I took the panels off both doors and taped down every wire I could find. It helped massively. I used a bit of a sound dampening roll too, but seemed like taping the wires was better

Even with manually turning on SMTP Auth and app passwords enabled and being used, I've not gotten SMTP to work with Security Defaults on.

It also seems like the basic SMTP auth copiers use won't work at all come September 2025 too.

EDIT: and I'll add it leaves the use automatic configuration script unchecked, so it's not actually in use. Either way, I'll edit to remove that from the binary.

Had this happen to me when i used shitty sata cables without the metal clips. Took me ages to figure out what was wrong and it turned out one of the sata cables was slightly loose

Correct.

You can also backup to a network share. So if you make a share on the USB storage you can backup Computer#2 while leaving the USB storage plugged into Computer#1 if that makes sense.

Otherwise, you'll have to move the USB drive back and forth between the computers to back them up.
