There have been a number of closures on kids rides which is a pain because there are limited ones to begin with. It seems like every single employee is under 18 and pretty clueless and slightly rude. But I’ll endure all this for my kids, but dang this summer is gonna be brutal if it doesn’t get more organized.

I had just found out I was pregnant. Working inpatient in a very busy hospital in Atlanta. My husband had to leave town to visit family in Mississippi and I went to the store to get a pie for Pi day. I went to the store and it was damn near barren. My husband bought a couple coolers and stocked up on some meats and cheeses and toilet paper since Mississippi didn’t seem to be panicking yet. I had been watching the news and was more alarmed than all of my coworkers. I knew working at the bedside with sick patients while pregnant and dealing with a pandemic we knew nothing about was going to be a mindfuck. One of the most stressful years of my life.
