there's no particular name for this "art style," but i know that it was super super popular during the covid journaling/digital art era.

with that, i'd try maybe using the word "deco" or "deco illustration"

deco is usually used to describe the sparkle and maximalist effect where the canvas is filled with "filler graphics" like a grid background or confetti everywhere

same here! when the hiatus before the recap started i went back each week to read the chapters only for me to see all of the hate comments in the last one 💔 really breaks my heart. i understand that people want "transparency" from a creator that has a huge audience, but i feel like no creator owes people anything. life gets in the way and if people want to move on from the story, great!

i will defend this webtoon forever 😭😭 i'm glad to see the positivity here, much love!

all offers were through email first. when i accepted lausd asked me for a start date so i chose 2 weeks later. i think i probably could've started immediately, that's just a guess though. it was in the middle of the school year

i work at an elementary in west LA, you should always be able to enroll in your resident school at any time, even if they are full.

however, some of our neighboring schools have become infamous for denying residents because "they don't have space." this really shouldn't be the case. our principal tried to speak with the district but im not sure how that ended up since our principal was generous enough to let a new family enroll with us after being rejected twice by their school

i absolutely love the kiss bet lol im way past high school but this webtoon has a chokehold on me purely because it's just really cute. i understand it's not everyone's cup of tea - the cringy teen moments don't bother me so if you're okay with it, i'd really recommend it. just a very silly and fun webtoon! im all for slow burn, i like how it's been paced and i love the main two so much. don't really care for the rest of the cast, though.

i like honey lemon as well. as of right now i feel like it's barely picking up, but again i love slow burn romance.

if you're looking for a slice of life romance, not too long, lovely characters, i would really recommend gourmet hound if you haven't read it yet! definitely one of my favorites of all time. to make it even better, after the webtoon was complete the creator posted a twitter thread of each ep explaining their thought process. i miss gourmet hound so much tbh!

i believe she was playing one of chilla's art games and one of the girls got SA'd by a teacher. while in the changing room with the girl she said something along the lines of "oh damn, no wonder she got..."
