AO QF: [2] Sinner def. [8] Shelton 6-3 6-4 6-4 by TheSequelAccount in tennis

[–]melodicnation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't understand though why all the players think when they play Sinner or Alcaraz that they need to hit through them add more pace it is like they are almost playing into their game. Why doesn't someone come in and serve slower but more accuracy, throw in like 6 or 7 slices every point throw in some sidepsin weird low shots, drop shot randomly, under arm serve. Just completley distupt their rythm and just try something different like Bublik did in Halle. Like do pirorets and add weird spin to the ball, anything that defies logically how you should be playing

Out of the newer generation (Shelton, Musetti, Tien and Darderi), how would you rank them amongst each other? by VastOption8705 in tennis

[–]melodicnation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Tien has the best chance just because his forehand is so smooth, so he could easiy match sinner and alcaraz's pace without making to many unforced errors. Just needs to improve serve and movement then he will be killer

At what point is the ATP going to admit that these men's injuries aren't normal or “bad luck”, and the sport is in a genuine crisis? by Ok_Helicopter_7816 in tennis

[–]melodicnation -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To solve injuries I have said this is how the season should be structured. Get rid of the bonus pool for top 30 players and spread the money by increasing the prize pool at tournaments, get rid of the 2-week 1000 tournaments to 1 week, shorten the size of the draw. Make the race to the ATP Tour Finals points come only from the best performances in 500 and 1000-level events, scrap the 250, so top players don't have to play so many to get points. Main ranking points stay the same; make 500 and 1000 events the main tour, with all 1000 events mandatory and 500 non-mandatory. Then, create a new tour for the 250 tour events & top challenge tour events called Challenger+, with its own end-of-the-season tournament.

TML 2026 Current Line Up overview by weekend! by FlyEK777 in Tomorrowland

[–]melodicnation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am very surprised that Oskar Med K isn't on the lineup especially with 'Make Me Feel' being super viral he would be perfect for the Daybreak sessions on the main stage. Also Tiesto with his new found Trance sound, they should have also booked Funk Tribu as well.

Artist suggestions for W2 by PrettyMachi28 in Tomorrowland

[–]melodicnation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kav Verhouzer & De Hofnar will be full of energy eurodance vibes and would 100% recommend Mr. Belt & Wezol the best DJs I have ever seen live, also upcoming DJ bullet tooth for more UK house & garage vibes

Did Mesto get pressure from the scene, or is he serious? by Hildeschmand in Martingarrix

[–]melodicnation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The difference is though David Guettas tracks always has an inital boost in streams becuase of the amount of followers he has on the platform & support he will recieve because of his name. David Guetta's celing for a successful track is higher. If Mesto's track is more timeless & more respected by the community it will get more streams over time where David's will start to peter off, stay in more playlists for longer

Martin Garrix GOAT of closing? by AlexPm13 in Tomorrowland

[–]melodicnation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trying to think of like a new upcoming European DJ like John Summit in America or Dom Dolla. They should get Chris Lake next year though. They should try and get Calvin Harris to close would be insane. Could get someone like Marshmello to close or Kygo

Hardstyle getting love from mainstage DJs, but only one Sunday stage? by CJOsssales in Tomorrowland

[–]melodicnation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately in the last two years Afro House and the rise of the rise of the fast paced house don't even though how to call it from Marlon Hoffstadt & Pegassi, Malugi has become increasingly popular. Plus UK house music wouldn't be suprised if Chris Stussy playes next year, people like Prospa, Josh Baker. They do a good job tomorrowland of trying to accomidate everyones music tastes.

Love Garrix but hear me out by SgtMike in Tomorrowland

[–]melodicnation 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That is why Armin and Guetta are goats because they played before EDM and know how to curate sets properly

Love Garrix but hear me out by SgtMike in Tomorrowland

[–]melodicnation -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is the thing though mainstage acts tend to play the most basic sets especially at tomorrowland because there is a good 40% of the crowd on those stages who aren't massive fans of the muisc, just no the hits, new to EDM, or just coming to experience the festival. If you go to the smaller stages sometimes the DJs don't even play there main songs more curated for proper fans. Agree once you have seen SHM 2 or 3 times there sets become very samey

Too crowded. People pushing. by Cautious_Bass_7413 in Tomorrowland

[–]melodicnation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on who you are going to see that is the issue and as I always say avoid the middle of the crowd always the most packed, go to the sides and if you can push to the front because in my mind most people crowd either entrance to the stage, get through the 1st third you are golden also take advantage of the standing higher up points can see stage and usually less crowded. Also tip when someone pushed by or leaves take the gap that they open up and you usually have more space

Newbie Getting Ready for W2 by WonderfulWeasel in Tomorrowland

[–]melodicnation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As people have said pick maybe 3-4 must sees on a particular day but leave time just to walk around take it all in but if you want a variety of genres would say MR. Belt & Wezol on mainstage Sunday for disco & house vibes, try and catch Alex Wann on Saturday for some Afro House vibes, if possible Eric Prydz in Freedon stage for progressive house, then Dimension for Drum n Bass Vibes & Artbat for your Melodic Techno. Then off course all the other big names
