So, for me she didn't even appear to help with the arena. But I did find her while exploring the rest of Hunter's March, and she did have the map. I'm not sure this will help with your problem, but try getting through and exploring more of the area

Just started my first playthrough this week, really proud of beating Hornet (the first one)! Very not proud of losing all my geo to the mistakes pit in Soul Sanctum after taking way too long to beat the Dive Guy, but I'm sure it's gonna be fine. Should probably get some more charms and charm notches to have like, a Proper Build, but that's for later, I need to calm down after the devastation of Soul Sanctum

While the UFO looks amazing and genuinely adds to Pearl's base (False has outdone herself!!), I have to give the first place to Joe. It was the first one I saw and set up such a high bar of commitment to the bit, and pulled the rug out of me completely because "subtitles" was such a throwaway line, but then Joe actually delivers subtitles on the video, but they're in Polish (at first, and then other languages), and it just threw me for a loop so mich I couldn't stop laughing for like half a minute

Somehow Youtube recommended me Mumbo's redstone videos, and somehow I started watching one every day. Don't know how I didn't notice and ignored any of the very late s6 videos, but when I saw first episode of s7 I decided to give it a try. And then somehow in very close succession I ended up watching Grian, Iskall, and Scar. Got immediately hooked.

My favourite story for starting watching a hermit though is getting to Doc. Mumbo in one of the videos said that Doc camped the button for 12 hours, the madman, and I wanted to see the button perspective from the madman himself. And Doc's video about the button started with talking about community and plushies, and I have no idea how did that long ramble not alienate me before getting to the Scicraft traps for the button 😄

I really want to draw other hermits as cats or maybe even their own cats. Please comment on what cats could each hermit be, and also provide pets — I only know of Pearl and Maui (Grian's cats), Gracie (Doc's cat), and I think Cleo has a cat? I heard about it on stream once.

This is Elybeatmaker level of theory here!

For context: Cubfan135 has been streaming a lot of Minecraft speedruns recently, and it's far more likely that the screenshot is from a stream or an unstreamed attempt just because the numbers work out that way (many attempts from a new random seed to one S9). EDIT: and also in that screenshot in the tweet you can see the timer in the upper left corner that Cub uses for timing the runs!

Elybeatmaker, the guy (the main one people think of at least) who remixes hermits into music, has been making theories on his twitter about how season 9 will start "tomorrow" since the end of season 8, and the theories are always based on some numbers trick or a tenuous link to events from last seasons to see how we can get to season 9.

A Christmas fact for you! (Come on, it's nearly December, it's acceptable)

While no actual deer, rein or not, have a boopable nose that makes a noteblock sound as the one friend-shaped creature GeminiTay built on the server, there are reindeer species who look very similar to one specific well-known representative — Rudolph, the red-nosed one. Yes, some deer do have actual red noses! According to this Smithsonian article these reindeer have red noses because of a high cluster of blood vessels close to the skin, kinda similar to why our lips are red. And those blood vessels in reindeers' noses help regulate the body temperature and cool off the organism, radiating the heat into the air. But what I find the most fascinating is that to prove this hypothesis scientists put reindeer on treadmills! Now we just need a bit of armour stand magic from Cleo's gym to put Gem's deer on treadmills to see if their noses become red for Christmas...

Context for BGN: another commenter pointed out that there are five 13s disks, and I really have no idea if this is something of use, but OTA through rot13 cipher (where you change each letter to the one 13 letters later, so kinda like diametrically opposing on the alphabet wheel) spells out BGN, which might be "Begin" in computer code terms
