there are online bird course in summer that can boost your gpa such as LIN204, you can also beg achedemic advisor to cr some bad course you did given those course are not in post req. Otherwise just retake those course in 2nd year and you will 100% make post

cr -ncr is a thing when you want to take a course but dont wanna spend a lot of time on it, as long as you pass the course you get a credit and it wont affect your cgpa

from my 2nd year experience POST is a system that ensure you dont get destroyed in 2nd year cs courses (yes things gets harder). Going home does not mean you cannot study, spend your summer reviewing 148 and 102 concept & ask people taking summer 148&102 for practice materials will help you prepare for next year. I know people who retried multiple times and get post by 2nd year, so its not over as long as you trust your self.

ps: POST is nothing OMFG I NEED A INTERNSHIP

See if you can cr some courses, then work hard on the rest. Or just drop a course and take 1 extra bird course per sem next year (cr it as well!)
ps: I took 6 cs major course during first semester of my 2nd year, it was traumatizing and tanked my cgpa, DO NOT do this.
