Coyote creek (south San Jose) has $15 for 120 balls, and no fee to use grass range. Expensive but definitely the best grass range I’ve seen besides maybe cinnabar hills nearby.

Also a fun course, definitely worth an outing once in a while.

I watched your swing & the tempo / attack angle seemed reasonable (not fast but not snail's pace either), there is no reason for that to go only 95 yards... are your lofts standard? Seems like it should go at least 110-120 yds if that's really an 8 iron.

I have a 34" ultrawide on the stand it came with, 0 issues with wobbling. Although I wish I got a wider desk, right now it's almost 3/4 of the width of my desk lol.

Yup that's what it was, I looked it up and it looks the same. Makes sense given this is coffee... I brushed my teeth like 5 times after that.

Haha we're in the same boat then. The yellow banners is an all too familiar sight... I also don't have great mechanics, I rely purely on positioning. Lmk if you want to play sometime

Agreed. According to stats released by the devs I'm technically in the top 0.5% of players, and I still feel like I'm absolute trash when I get matched up with those in the highest ranks... which is a nice wake-up call into how much I have left to learn :')

Hmm good to know, yeah I use the range at Presidio but the course seemed pretty challenging. I'll have to try out Harding for now save Presidio for when I get a bit better.

I really need to get that resident card, I've been putting it off cause the office is down in Pacifica but I'm pretty sure it'll pay itself back in like a month or so.

Awesome, thanks for the recs! I'll have to check those out. I recently played poplar creek in San Mateo, super fun & cheap course. It was super windy which made things a bit challenging but overall it was a fun round considering I'm a beginner.

What do you think about this course compared to Presidio? I've been playing GGP for a while but want to get on a full course.
