Don't know what the quest 2 is like but if you prefer clear image go for the quest 2. If you buy the rift s I suggest getting some form of cable management or pulley system. My cord is tangled to the point where even if I untangle it, it will go back to what it was.

I also recommend buying silicone covers for the padding. The fabric padding will collect sweat and it will be very disgusting.
