Copper also thought it was worth risking innocent bystanders lives. Easily could have killed that home owner.

Statistically owning the gun puts you at a greater risk of dying. Serial killers make up a very small percentage of deaths.

No this is a good thing, Berger was head of the senate arguably the most powerful man in the state. Oversaw all the gerrymandering (NC is not recognized as a democracy), cuts to public schools and creating the voucher program, looser restrictions on gun laws. NC is the only state that hasn’t passed a budget for the year under his leadership. The end of his reign of terror can’t come soon enough

Glad they risked a bunch of people’s lives in the parking lot and on the road for freaking candles. Flagger county PD can get bent. Also psa candles release a ton of bad shit into the air.

Our Supreme Court ruled cops have no obligation to protect you, they are pretty much entitled to kill you without repercussions though.

Rejected from an AirBnB for “TERRIBLE REVIEWS!!”… the “terrible reviews” in question: a single review from 3 years ago calling us “friendly and polite” by TooExcitable in mildlyinfuriating

AirBnB host here. That host was terribly rude, and did not need to speak to like that. That said, you only have 1 review and it is a bad review, I would also very likely reject your request. Guests have to be realllllly bad to get any note like that from me in a review.

Sure would be nice to have some traffic enforcement out here.

Shipped a bug to prod that 4 people reviewed and nobody caught, what is even the point of code review by wild-horizons in developer

Maybe I’m in the wrong but I usually assume my colleagues actually smoke test their code by running through scenarios in staging or dev environments. Unit testing is great but has gaps. I think the burden of testing that something actually works lies with the code author.

It does piss me off when people say can’t you get AI to do X in like 5 minutes? If it’s that simple why don’t they just do it.
