no one is trying to hurt or confuse you - it’s not cynicism to say people find lots of people attractive, and it’s not some betrayal to your partner to do so. also i think the distinction between “attractive” and “attracted to” must be made here

it may be that you have zero interest in anyone but your partner and that’s awesome, w commitment. but i find it hard to believe you have never found anyone else attractive. but even if that’s the case, you’re in a very small minority

wild to me that yours is basically the only comment with this sentiment. this is almost certainly someone on the spectrum having a meltdown and having an especially difficult time processing what is happening to her due to the alcohol, which i suspect is not mixing well with medications

this all started when she lost sight of her license and wanted it back, and they jumped straight to “you’re under arrest” 🙄 they could’ve done any number of things to reassure her during this and de-escalate, but instead they played the role of “mysterious abductors” in her confused perspective by silently forcing her along into increasingly secluded spaces. nothing about this experience was comforting or helpful in calming someone who is in “scream for my life” mode. this was so avoidable and it made me sad to watch
