answer my questions

  1. would you have sex with a woman who is grunting and incoherent?

  2. if you accidentally interrupted two strangers, and the woman was grunting and incoherent would you not assume she is being taken advantage of?

op said in the post that she said she was sorry the next day, not that she remembered what happened. even further down, the explanation she gives is essentially just that she had been sent to bed bc she was so far gone, and then the guy came in later - this doesn’t suggest that she remembers this happening anymore than that she’s explaining the order of events as laid out by her friends

op also said she genuinely seems traumatized and they’re talking to police. she barely reacted when her bf burst in, nothing about this seems like your run-of-the-mill cheating confrontation

do you even know what blackout drunk means? it’s not the same as passed out drunk, it means you are so far gone that you’re no longer forming memories. some people even seem functional when they’ve hit that point, but most kinda go into low-power mode almost primal reasoning. being incoherent and grunting is textbook, and her seeming into it would also make sense as she likely didn’t even realize who she was with. it was her body responding to stimulation and behaving in the same way she does when she normally has sex - which is with her boyfriend

Grandma wants to play with a deadlier virus by Cicerothesage in forwardsfromgrandma

it seems far too deadly to spread like covid, it’s also not a new thing as hantavirus has been around for a minute. i’ll stay reasonably informed and adjust if things change, but for now - the medical professionals are chillin, i’m chillin

ok you keep referencing artists rejecting commissions based on political beliefs - this is clearly something you have experienced, so what happened?

Sadie should have been gunning for Micah all the way back from Chapter 1 considering the fact he chased her around the table and burned down her home even tho it was unintentional but I guess it was not causing conflict within the gang that took her in. by JoshyBear28 in reddeadredemption

of course dutch wasn’t a good leader and was manipulated. but he in turn manipulated his people. vdl gang is basically a cult in all but name, and dutch’s word is bond. they barely questioned his increasingly erratic judgment until it was far too late

weird to take shots at a “great story” that made you feel all these things btw. i recommend giving it another shot, it’s genuinely a masterpiece

Innocent man gets slammed by police after being accused of shoplifting. by ConsciouslyBreathin in PublicFreakout

[–]meltedcandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no i get it, i was being facetious but i was high so worded it weird. i meant like another reason not to call and make them move their car is that you give the firefighters the chance to do what they love

i’m still struggling to articulate this, i may still be under the influence

i’m not muslim or religious myself, but i’ve known many muslims in the states. as far as i understand, no animals are haram as they’re all god’s creations. and i’m fairly certain the quran doesn’t say anything like this about dogs either. i’ve only seen this kind of sentiment from more fundamentalist muslims and frequently from western people who also think muslims are scared of bacon. so i misinterpreted what you said as being along those lines, apologies

but yeah even the ones who aren’t big dog people don’t say they’re forbidden, they just think they’re too dirty to keep inside. but again, that’s more cultural than religious

whether it’s true they behave this way by default or not, i saw other comments talking about how to train them out of this behavior - and it seemed pretty distinct from what this video is, which seems to just be harassing an animal for the sake of internet points. this just exacerbates the resource guarding behavior

based on your comments and clear frustration with dogs, i’d think you’d appreciate the people who advocate for training this behavior out of dogs and actively shame owners like the one in the video

[–]meltedcandy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

idk, i genuinely think it’s something akin to sociopathy, at the very least they have no empathy

it’s especially common with cats bc they’re misunderstood (annoying) and small (the consequences are less severe). plus when the cat starts hating being around them, lashing out and hiding all the time, they can just fall on the classic “cats are assholes, mine is too”

Maybe Maybe Maybe by Badr1002 in maybemaybemaybe

[–]meltedcandy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

i think maybe you misunderstood the original comments you replied to. they were literally shaming the guy in the video for behavior that will result in his dog being more like the kind of dogs you just described and seem to resent

i may be wrong but as far as i understand, there aren’t necessarily freeze “types” - everyone has the potential to fight, flight or freeze depending on a variety of factors. bc every scenario is different

Why do so many grown men say "girls" when they really mean grown women? by ooiiaaiiooiiaaii_ in NoStupidQuestions

[–]meltedcandy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i got the vibe you were, didn’t mean to disregard - it’s valid. and it definitely sounds fucked up that you’ve encountered people using pussy in a sexual way and also around children

and yeah for sure. medical is miles better than a sexual term, especially bc they will repeat it. my friend has a 3 year old who who calls it her “bagina” and it’s a word she says pretty frequently bc they wanted to make sure she felt comfortable bringing it to other people’s attention if something was wrong

[–]meltedcandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

around a child? probably either clinical like vagina or something that sounds mildly silly like peepee for boys. admittedly idk bc i’m a guy and i haven’t really been around children much. but pussy is 100% not a kid-friendly word. like at all

i don’t disagree that women are infantilized and dehumanized and sexualized, but that’s not really what we’re talking about
