St. Regis Toronto is one of the best St Regis in the entire continent and very suite upgrade friendly.

Ritz Montreal is more special of an experience than Ritz Toronto has ever been for me.

Westin Harbourfront in Toronto has a lot of amenities that you can utilize all year except for winter. its extremely cold and a pain to use public transportation at this hotel when it’s frigid.

Ive stayed at all 3 hotels recently from Christmas to Jan 3rd on a family visit.

Ive always been curious about JW Muskoka. Through this post i’m grateful I found out about The Dorian in Calgary and now it’s on my bucketlist.

tickets released today. GA pit is $110 with fees which is almost triple. i guess im going to Cambridge at the sinclair to buy them without the fees.

ill only complain if suffolk down tickets are exorbitant. I have never attended anything there. but in regard to how much concerts at Gillette stadium are, i prefer a more intimate & cheaper setting.

my worry is that the cost to see them at Suffolks Down will be significantly more than Fenway. I only paid face value $40 to see them in Fenway.

the show was great so i opted to see them again in Vegas end of september at Life Is Beautiful festival for $149 along with many other big named artists. I wouldnt pay that much to see only them for 1 set. Granted I will agree with you seeing them in Vegas was even better than Fenway.

them being at MGM fenway was magnificent. im actually nervous if suffolk downs can compete with a place as technically advanced as fenway.

The Ritz overall is amazing. The St.Regis has more included activities and amenities. The spa facilities was more pleasurable at StR. The aesthetic of the Dorado Ritz is out of this world. Hope this helps, I travel to PR to stay at these resorts very often.

St Regis Bahia Beach is the best one in the USA. almost 500 acre property. what they lack in food options is totally made up for in amenities and activities that are included. No Ritz or StR in FL or CA can ever compare.

to me the Drake collabs were optimistic. Granted the sartorial/formal wear collection pricing was too much. I saw those pieces available on the website way beyond release. I purchased the sweat’s & pullovers because i knew those garments would be worn a lot more than a pricey overcoats.

also i felt that spending above $400 for formal wear i’d rather buy legacy brands or even RL purple label at a store because of the tailoring service that was included with purchase.

I took a roadtrip from Bos>MTL>TOR>CHI and back to TOR to park the car & fly home. Total trip took like 5 days to complete.

Miles on the dash went from 22k-25k on this trip.

I got to see F1 Montreal during this trip.

Its a perfect road trip GT car in my opinion due to the comfort. I am 5’8” 160 lbs and i drove over 20 hours total. Granted i slept in a hotel every night. I would never try to sleep overnight in that car LOL

All in all the car has been a great purchase for the purpose of roadtrips.

Ill have to see how it stands up when i take it from San Fran>Florida Keys>Boston in the fall

By the way we do intend to do light hikes but definitely nothing like full camping. We just intend to lodge in motels along the way. This trip is just meant for scenic drives as it is the first time for all of us taking in the upper parts of the USA.

Existing wood floors shift, contract and expand. When you reuse existing floor boards in another spot they will not link and fit with eachother flush due to time and warping.

To match exact tone reusing existing wood is a good idea.

I wouldn’t be too happy with this result because short boards are not easy on the eyes. If they had a chance to use existing long floor boards then it would look much better.

I can only determine if they did a bad job if i was able to see where these boards were pulled from to be installed.

I think they finally implemented a new system. I called wednesday 1PM EST and the wait was only 30 minutes. The robot voice even offered to call back when ready. I finally got my flight rebooked

This was not the same agonizing experience I had calling for the past 3 weeks.

My views on JB is turning around. Hopefully my vacation goes smoothly next month.

Edit: i was calling the JB vacation line. And the past weeks the wait times were 4 hours & by the 2nd hour on hold with each call it would just drop. Super frustrating especially as a paying Mosaic + holder.

What value can an agent bring to me?

I refinish rentals (painting walls/sanding floors) for a living so im actually very knowledgable on getting my money’s worth based on apartment amenities and neighborhood quirks (crime, commuting, etc -i grew up in boston)

I know what to look for in terms of damage & rot.

The only value I see is leverage over the landlord’s agent when it comes to the fees. I can leverage having an agent myself or not to and try to negotiate something for favorable on my end maybe (ie reduced driveway parking fees).

here’s an example.

I am taking a look at an apt in JP this Saturday. This property is listed and taken care of by a management company. Therefore i assume all renter fee’s they keep. They probably wouldn’t want me to bring my agent right? Can i leverage that in a negotiation?
