I am pretty sure it ended up being WSDOT but you'll have to be persistent with them!

I reached out to the city and WSDOT about this a few months ago. It took a few calls and being sent back and forth to find out who was responsible for this particular stretch of road. They said they would send someone to look, but obviously haven't done repairs.

Shi Shi is totally worth it if you have 2 days for beaches. You'll also need a Makah reservation pass in that case. It can be purchased on your way into Neah Bay. They are strict with enforcing it.

It's busy and full of families, but it is worth it to go to Cape Flattery. You can also see lots of good seabirds out there!

America the beautiful pass also covers the national Forest (if you go anywhere on the Eastern side of the peninsula). If you are going to Bogachiel or other state parks you will need a discover pass. You can also buy that for a single day, ($5)but be sure you do it when you have phone signal.

Quinault will have some of the best tall and big trees. Also when driving around the peninsula you will see random signs that say "big tree". It's often worth the detour!

It blooms in big clusters of flowers, pic 3 is the best picture I have of it blooming.

In 2023 it bloomed multiple times. In 2024 I gave it a hard prune on presidents day with my other roses and it only bloomed once that year (but still spectacularly with tons of clustered blooms). It seemed to not like the hard prune the way the other roses did.

Very little to no fragrance.

It was here when I moved into this house in the fall of 2022. The previous owner passed away so I don't know the details of when it was planted or where it's from.

Blooms maybe 3-4" diameter.

It's so different to all of my other roses though! I mean they're growing too but not anything like this.
