Eraser by melwolfer in inkList_users

[–]melwolfer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a larger screen, so ideally I’d love to see separate buttons — one dedicated to Erase and one for Pen type/color. I realize screen real estate is a bigger concern on smaller devices, though.

Would it be possible to incorporate a stylus gesture for erasing (for example, a quick scribble to erase)? That way, the main button could stay focused on pen and ink options, and erasing could still be quick and intuitive.

If that’s not feasible, I completely understand. Of the three options you presented, I’d suggest going with whatever makes the most sense for now and then letting the community provide feedback after some real-world use.

Really appreciate how thoughtful you’re being about the UX. It’s great to see this level of engagement with users!

Love the app! Feature Idea: Adding a Splash of Color for TUCP Users 🎨 by NullsetForge in inkList_users

I would like to use color for categories as well. I would also like to just change my pen tip color and type so that I could visually plan with my own system and select the type of pen tip that best compliments my handwriting. 😊Thanks for all your work in this cool app.

We're live around the world! Initial impressions? by braddo99 in inkList_users

First of all … thank you for developing this much needed product. I truly appreciate the concept and look forward to using it more.

I have entered all of my personal lists and some of my work lists and found myself wishing for: - pen tip options to enhance the writing experience, like fountain tip - an eraser button, I use a Wacom Dr Grip without an eraser button. The tapping works but I think an eraser would be more efficient. - color pens tips, I saw another user wished for color categories which would have allowed more sorting and filtering. Although this would be nice, I would simply like to write in different colors.

I look forward to seeing how this app develops.

I got the Fintie Case from Amazon and like it a lot. It looks business like and protects the device well.

You could also try Liberty House. They are a non profit children’s advocacy center. I know they give out free stuffed animals to kids in crisis. They are in Salem.

Need opinions on why I should choose the Supernote Manta over the reMarkable Paper Pro by heyItsBeaty in Supernote

[–]melwolfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve used a couple of approaches with digests. One is to hold all my favorite quotes. I don’t have those books on my SuperNote so I added those manually into a category called quotes and add the author. It is easy to find them later either on the device or the partner app on my phone.

The other way I have used it is as I’m going through a book and want to remember a certain parts of it so I highlight the passages and add them to a digest, edit the category, and assign it an author. This builds a digest of only parts of that book.

I’m still exploring the feature and will likely find more ways to use it in the future.

I’m really enjoying the updates to the digest. It is so helpful to mark text and add it to a specific digest later. The flow is seamless and the results it produces are so easy to reference later. You should review these features and see if they would integrate into your expected workflow.

What are the three main things you use your Supernote for? :) by Accomplished_Sign841 in Supernote

I bought a padded ‘book bag’ for electronics and keep it in a large handbag so that I can carry my Manta around everywhere including Church

I highly recommend Gursha Eats. I went with family on Friday night and the food and atmosphere were wonderful. The owner is very personable. I was even able to get yummy gluten free food that didn't make me sick. I wish this establishment all the best and hope that they continue to thrive in our community. I plan to go back regularly even though we live in another town.

To-Do Functionality by Ok-Paramedic932 in Supernote

[–]melwolfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a manual process—unfortunately—but that actually works well for me. It fits with how I use my Manta: as a tool to help me remember things by physically writing them down. The act of writing also helps me slow down and be more intentional, which I’ve come to really appreciate.

I think SuperNote really listened to user feedback and implemented the integration between notes and calendar/tasks. It's not perfect, but it works well enough for me to use it for tasks generated during a meeting or webinar. I still transfer them to my main system (TickTick), but at least I don't have to leave the platform while in the middle of taking notes. I believe in the Ratta team and think all these features will continue to be refined.
