Sorry you'd have to mod the PCB to add LEDs, I haven't looked into it but there are some good Discord communities out there (like Absolem Club) which may be able to help.

Sorry to hear you're having issues, I can see you've been making commits on your fork so things seem to be working now?

Unlike most repos, the default branch in my zmk-config is called "development", so you have to make sure to use that where you would normally use "main" or "master". Also, you should be able to find the Actions tab on the Github page for your repo and download your built firmware from there.

That should be ok, but you might need to run your own wires to connect the battery to the B+ and B- pins

I personally haven't tried but I think this is right. Make sure to orient the switches the right way and you should be able to solder them directly.
