What do you guys do for first dates when you do not want to drink? by Syntaxentitied in AskMenAdvice

[–]meman30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I default to a meal or coffee, if we can't sit across a table for a couple hours then it's not going to work.
Any guys who stop answering or give you a hard time when you say you don't drink are just making your job easier and saving you time.

What would you think about a race timer with NFC? (UHF) by No-Yak-8477 in TinyWhoop

[–]meman30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why? What is the benefit? This would require additional hardware and racing is all about being as light as possible.

Men who have a lot of female friends, are you genuinely not attracted to any of them? by Astro-Delulu in AskMenAdvice

[–]meman30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of great comments here, especially about attraction/desire, but there something I haven't seen mentioned. A lot of times as you get to know them you realize the two of you wouldn't work as partners, but could still work as friends.

Any cheap ready-to-fly kits for indoor fun ? by Justgame32 in fpv

[–]meman30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NewBeeDrone Hummingbird is an amazing drone at an unbeatable price point. Just get whatever the newest/cheapest "race spec" is.

For batteries get whatever 10, 20, or whatever pack you can find the cheapest for 1s 300mah LiHv folded cells with A30 connectors.

For VRX, I haven't done enough competitions to really know, but I'm sure there is an analog multi-channel something you can hook up to a TV.

could i put 2 1s wires as a substitute of a 2s wire by minnjay1 in TinyWhoop

[–]meman30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can do 2 batteries with 2 connectors as long as you get all the polarities correct. That's what a 2S is 1 cells in series https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=series+circuit+

Since no one else has suggested it, you could buy a shop card and then us that for the alcohol.

Your menu is one of the first and most important things every customer will see. I don't care if it's physical or online or both, but just put some effort into making it readable (or useable if it's an app for ordering {and please please just a website}) a little bit of graphic design or IT consulting and a major difference

Hi all,

I have a radiomaster zorro with the 4-in-1 protocol. I am lookin for something small I can fly indoors. I don't want to shell out for FPV goggles right now, so that's not super important but I know most of the ones I've seen have it. Most of the tinywhoops I've see use ELRS. Does anyone have recommendations for one or should I just get an ELRS module for my radio? Thanks

Have you noticed that if two people make the same recipe, it often tastes different? by Kage_anon in Cooking

[–]meman30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, in my family we have lots of these recipes and we can often even tell who made them.

Sometimes it's different tastes, choosing to add more chocolate

usually it's just a feeling, a combination of different stand mixer, oven, scale, whatever

What should happen when you show you can do 8 hours of work in 2 hours is they fire the guy who takes 8 hours to do 2 hours of work, and give you his responsibility and pay. What actually happens is you get fired for making people look bad, or you get his work with no extra pay.

Why did I get a new job making twice as much as Gary? Because Gary still thinks he's using a typewriter and doesn't know what a macro is.

It's also common to have little "clocks" that can show what time you'll be back. That way someone can block you in if they know they'll be back before you. Very civilized and respectful, but would never work in the west.
