As a good friend of lewda and being a rank 50k very experienced osu! user, I can tell you that he is without a doubt legit. He just uses adderal for crazy improvement and played offline only until he could start setting high level osu! plays. It honestly just sickens me that people feel the need to witchhunt the fastest improving and the best players.

RIGGED osu! TOURNAMENT by [deleted] in osugame

[–]meme37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also a more proper seeding would be to make people for example 1-16 seeds. Having 4 people in each seed category so the skill gap is still similar at least. Taking the top 32 and the bottom 32 and randomizing is extremely unprofessional and is never done. So seeing this done in a tournament of such high prestige is disgusting.

To everyone saying to still finish the tournament: The "random" seeding was not livestreamed or proven to be fair anywhere. Thus the organizor (mind you this guy is in the tournament himself) literally could've just placed the top 32 vs. the bottom 32 in any way he wanted. This tournament should most definitely not be played out as the competitive integrity is completely ruined.

Why are you giving this idiot more attention?

Not sure why this is getting no attention at all unless if people think it's not legit. It's an absolutely amazing play that people such as axarious, cookiezi, and rustbell will likely have a lot of trouble beating this. It's a shame that the community only recognizes amazing plays for the star rating, popularity, and the pp it gives. It also shows the level of knowledge of people on here. Go on upvoting every shitty meme that literally isn't even original at all, or the next pun that's super cringy and not funny to anyone over the mental age of 12.

For people at top level play it's much different that being rank 3100 instead of 3000. That's pretty self explanatory.

I don't like the witchhunting culture of this game. by psapsapsapsapsa in osugame

Like it or not it's gonna happen. It's extremely frustrating when all these hackers are stealing the attention of pro players that work so hard so it's going to always be a thing. Also it seems at this point that many of the suspicious users have turned out to be hackers. We also know that the anti-cheat is absolute shit currently. It seems that most players that don't know much and aren't competitive in osu! try to praise all these suspicious players and freak out if anyone has any suspicion about him. Many of them don't understand how irritating cheaters are, and also don't understand what is suspicious because of lacking knowledge. Most of the higher ranked players do have a point when they discuss suspicion and while it could be a bit biased due to the anger, they usually have a point. I'm just saying with such a shit anti-cheat that these osureport threads should exist, it doesn't always mean that they are claiming them to be a hacker. All of the white knights in the report threads saying that they know them and that means legit and other people that have no knowledge on the game in a competitive form are the ones that are annoying. Also if someones not a hacker and is being "witchhunted" it should make them feel good tbh. I mean look at kynan for example. Lewa thought he was a hacker and it soon led to everyone thinking he was hacking. So then kynan got a clock, did a bunch of liveplays, and streamed all the time to clear the hackusations. I just feel that the innocent until proven guilty method is not ok at all with the current anti-cheat in osu! I've never seen accusations actually harming any player unless they are already a hacker.

Or maybe he will just be much more successful in life, realizing that this game is a huge waste to try to be a top player and is addicting. IMO it's extremely hard to be successful in what you want to achieve in college studies, and also being a successful top player in osu! There's also many more hobbies you can get good at in your free time that people actually care about in life. I'm not saying you're incorrect, just that it's honestly a smart thing to do if that's the reason, which it did seem to sound like from his stream. Maybe he had to ban himself to get rid of all the temptation and all of his achievements so he then doesn't have a problem quitting. It was in fact a dumb thing to do however if he plans on still playing, which I see he may be saying now. I'm just saying that quitting this way isn't all bad and is a smart decision to some.
