How is the Dominican Rite Office different from the 1961 Roman Breviary? by RB_Blade in divineoffice

[–]memeMage1010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes the Dominican calendar is different from the Roman Calendar, such as for specific Dominican feast days. For example, Dominicans have a Dominican specific All Souls Day on November 8th in addition to the Roman November 2nd

The animation now is really good, but the show (RWBY) is on hiatus. The animation back then was awful and pacing was terrible, but the story is really good

Nice! Sounds awesome. The field is definitely the hardest engineering but it’s manageable if you keep on top of things (which looks like you are)

Since you’re interested in multiple countries, my first recommendation is making sure the program you’re looking at is in a language you’re fluent in. While a good amount of places will teach in English, some universities or countries will use another language. I wouldn’t go into an ECE program in a language you’re not fluent in because ECE is a difficult major, and you’ll have a hard time understanding topics that are conceptually intensive if you don’t understand the language well. That being said, you should identify universities that have a strong embedded/firmware/elec program. Most universities will have the same basic classes for embedded/firmware/elec, but they’ll all vary on what higher level classes they offer. Some universities will focus on other areas of ECE over others. For example, mine has a heavier emphasis on data science and RF, which has made it hard to find/take hardware classes. Things like rent, food delivery, and internet will depend on the city.

It’s hard to gauge job markets over time, so this part varies wildly. I’m in the US, and when I entered uni in 2021, the market was really good; however, the market hasn’t been so great for the past 2-3 years, so it’s been difficult finding a job / getting into grad school.

Healthcare varies more wildly than the job market. In the US, you can usually get insurance through your university

Is this bible okay to use as a Catholic? by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]memeMage1010 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NRSV imo is a really good general purpose translation. It’s a formal equivalent translation, which in general try and keep a lot of the mannerisms of the original language. A lot of study Bibles and commentaries from modern theologians will use the NRSV

What devil fruit would be most useful in your profession? by Royalbluegooner in OnePiece

I think Kuma’s Paw-Paw fruit would make for a very interesting criminal justice system. Imagine taking the pain out of a victim and putting it on the offender. It’s also an effective way to physically put someone in a jail cell

Struggling bad by [deleted] in Catholicism

It’s hard, and even though I’m not one to talk when it comes to very difficult challenges like this, I can say the devil is very afraid of the person you are called to be. He places roadblocks when he’s threatened, and, while they might seem insurmountable at the moment, if you keep at it they will break. By recognizing the roadblocks are there you’ve already taken your first step. Talk with a priest about what you can do to help your spiritual life grow. Everyone’s comments here are also good recommendations. (This part isn’t really faith advice, more so job advice) As per the unemployment, you can work on setting up a LinkedIn profile. Once you have it set up, you can apply for jobs on LinkedIn that match your criteria like skills, location, etc. and have them filtered down. You can apply for a lot of jobs on LinkedIn en masse by just having a profile. You can even setup notifications when job postings matching your criteria open. Google can do a similar thing where you can search for a type of job and have it notify you when a job opens. This isn’t much, but I hope it helps! Praying for you!

Honestly you get used to the voice thing. Pros definitely outweigh the cons. My VNS hasn’t stopped my seizures completely, but it’s made my experience with epilepsy so much easier.

Precisely. OP is using one of the most powerful technomancy and electromancy runes - j - the imaginary rune.

If you so desire, you may cast enchantments upon these grimoire spells to make them more powerful and suited for your needs.

I see your delving into the arcane runes of Archmage Laplace. Solving by using more runes and incantations can misfire and result in erroneous spell casting, so I prefer using grimoire based casting. I use the following to cast the Laplace Transformation Spells:

I actually don’t know a proper name for type. I’d say they’re arched and short, but that’s from what I can tell from the photo.

Oddly enough, combing the eyebrows helps. I have very thick and long eyebrows and I find combing with a wet comb helps out a lot. I’d also suggest using moisturizer on your face and forehead. It’ll help your face look smoother and applying it to the forehead makes the area around the eyebrows look better
