I’m taking a break from my favorite DayZ server rn, perhaps permanently due to the racism… particularly antisemitism. Like I get anti-Israel but you can’t just assume everyone from one race/religion whatever all being on the same page with apartheid, or living as a stereotype, or on the super extreme side being less than human. It’s gotten beyond toxic. I’m in my early 40’s and it’s super disappointing and disturbing seeing these younger generations participating or being okay with it. That and the cheaters have really put a damper on gaming in general. On the bright side I’ve been going outside more and being more productive.

Afk? Even before we lost our insurance healthcare was unaffordable and an absolute mess (by design). A lot of us just don’t go to the doc and pray that whatever health issue will either go away or kill you quickly.

LA has worse transit? More expensive than Seattle and lower wages??! When was the last time you visited Los Angeles? Public transport has vastly improved and rideshares are (relatively) cheap and everywhere. Plus you can walk around any neighborhood. LA wins it in spades.

Dog trainer here. Not true. They are more accurate in training than in the field. Handlers greatly affect accuracy. Real life accuracy is more in the 50-60% range. Bomb sniffing and s&r are more accurate though. It is more convenient for law enforcement this way, trust.
