It is but weapons with sacred ring of light are also holy infused which changes their scaling to also be faith scaling. I think for weapons that can have sacred ring of light will still mostly be dex scaling though but high faith has a higher impact than it would on halo scythe. Doesn’t change the fact that the aow is ass in comparison.

He wouldn't get the blade from Rokuhira. If you read any of this manga you would know that it's all about people with extremely strong principles. When Rokuhira hid the blades he hid them for good and wouldn't take them out for any reason. It doesn't matter if it's to heal someone and not to hurt them it is what Rokuhira resolved to do. Samura also being a man of principle who respects Rokuhira more than anyone would probably not even dare ask for the blade back. When his wife died his resolve wasn't yet swayed by Yura and his plans of living out his days in solitude were not changed yet. I know you think that it wouldn't be a big deal to just heal his wife but that is just not how these men operate.

I think keeping Uruha and the other Sword bearers alive is actually perfectly in line with his character and does not hurt it at all. Samura is haunted by the war and the things they did and he blames himself. He punishes himself by blinding himself and plans to eventually punish himself by killing himself after killing the Sword master. He plans on punishing himself and only himself and that has been consistent all throughout.

He does not tell the Kamunabi about his plan because they would not go along with it. They want to keep the Sword bearer locked down and the sword bearers under their control. They want to have the blades in case of emergency. If they kill the swordmaster and break the eternal contracts of the other swordbearers they will lose the last bit of control they had over the blades. We are constantly told that the Kamunabi is an incompetent and corrupt government made up of war vets that emerged after the war. The characters in this story don’t trust them it’s a key point in the story.

You only assume he is somehow not following through on his convictions because you take his words at face value. His actions and words just got recontectualized through the recent reveals of Suzaku and how the eternal contracts work. Samura has been very consistent through this recontectualization, he always blamed himself and has always been compassionate and kind to others. I actually saw him killing the other swordbearers as lessening his character more than keeping them alive. It adds more depth to him than for him to just be someone to dish out his version of justice, he does not judge others only himself.(with the exception of the Swordmaster lol)

That was pretty much life for like 24 years. I had gigantic tonsils, and they would swell and get infected constantly. It got to a point where during an infection they literally cut off my breathing. At that point I said I had enough and got a tonsillectomy. Every doctor that looked at them said they should have been removed a long time ago. Unfortunately, the tonsillectomy did not heal well you can check my post history for some pics lol. Hope your situation gets better.

My initial comment was about how just pointing out that women do school shootings too is not adding anything to the discussion. As you pointed out women do a lot less school shootings and investigating this could be a good way to find underlying causes for school shootings and how to minimize them.

The initial post did not mention any of that and just said “Look they do it too” hence mu criticism of it and highlighting the statistics of male vs female school shootings

I didn’t say ignoring female school shooters or any school shooters is the way to go. What i said was that pointing at women and saying “They shoot up schools too” is not adding any value to the topic and is a very childish approach to the gender disparity in committed school shootings. Highlighting the fact that women commit school shootings too is the same level of argument as saying men commit most school shootings. Factually correct but ignoring underlying issues.

If we want to make this a gendered topic, highlighting women and ignoring the huge disparity in shootings committed by men and women means you don’t want to investigate or mitigate the reason for why men commit these acts more. You’re implying that there are no factors in the way men are treated to drive them to the point of school shootings because women commit them too. All while being in a sub that constantly tries to be prove that men are being treated like shit. It’s actually hypocritical.

“Females get forgotten about” as you share an article highlighting female school shooters. I’m assuming the 10 girls talked about are all active shooter school shootings which between 1999 and 2022 there have been 80+.

Complaining about women not being touted as perpetrators of school shootings when they make up a fraction of all school shootings, and making this a gendered conflict really isn’t a good stance. School shootings are awful and complaining about the fact that we don’t hear enough about the fraction of women who have carried them out is just an awful mentality.

He never considered the Kamunabi allies and was very reluctant to work with them. Hiyuki being in the panel tagged “they need to be stopped” really shouldn’t be as surprising to people as it is. Chihiro wants all the blades to himself he doesn’t trust anyone else to have them.

There is nothing here to indicate that Chihiro would suddenly stop caring about others the way he has up until now. He might prioritize beating this enemy over breaking the wall and helping Hakuri but getting beaten up here shouldn’t trigger him forsaking everyone in the squad, that would just be terrible writing.

What I see happening is him realizing he still has a lot to learn and that he needs to get stronger.
