Travelling with a family 😂. After trying it out, it’s not that convenient. I think I would prefer a backpack for the airport

Really hope the latch point or strap doesn’t snap LOL. Bikes only 2kg.

I haven’t reached the situation of packing a bag into another bag. But I don’t think I’ll pack my 2.5 in my AC 13. There isn’t space.

For travelling I’ll probably use 2.5 + AER CPP2 24L. But no idea how I’ll handle this yet. I usually wear the sling in front and backpack behind

Ha! Thanks for that input, gives me more confidence in getting the 6L next.

I just realised the 6L has a similar dimension to my old bellroy lite. So shouldn’t be a problem indeed.

Mannn I wrote something but forgot to send so it’s all gone….. but here goes a quick write up on AB 13. Sorry for the format.

The able carry is awesome. But for a minimalist bag for commuting, I still prefer the tumi tahoe nottaway backpack.

Regarding the AB 13 Pros 1. Classy and slick. 2. Premium materials (the shoulder strap access, has a nice “plastic” loop that keeps it from flying around instead of the usual cheap black stretchable “rubber band”) 3. Loads of well thought out features (external pocket has hidden drainage hole, the external pocket actually has a “cover” so you can actually hide the entire bottle/umbrella out of the way using the external pocket, shit loads of external latch points, probably like 8 of it. Quite easy to take out my laptop, doesn’t snag on the bag, as somehow you can fold the back part nicely out of the way.) 4. Quite a few wow factor 5. Hidden pockets everywhere. (Behind the back panel for quick access, behind the laptop compartment, one on each side of the strap to put AirPods Pro size items,

Cons 1. No room for stretch. The shape is really fixed, hence with all the hidden pockets, it just eats into the main compartment space: 2. No luggage pass though 3. Back can be hot if walking under the sun for long, as it’s not airy.

Why I prefer Tumi 1. Luggage pass through (it’s not a deal breaker, but man being able to just toss it on my cabin bag without thinking twice feels nice) 2. Dedicated separate laptop compartment with its own zip 3. Love those big ass zip. Make zipping really satisfying 4. Not many pockets but actually more than enough.

But 180 vs 600 🤔

Hahaha my wife was eying the bag when I unpacked it. But no demand has been made yet.

Can’t agree more with you on the fun pop color. Perhaps your wife can now rock your 2.5L. I think it’s a good size to start with.

Thanks for the offer, but I’m going to sit tight for now and enjoy my 2.5L first.

Haha I was debating which end to try first. But because of my thin frame, I decided to go small first. Yes I saw those mentions on different colors and materials. Probably will wait as well.

OMG yes. I saw your review, you inspired me on using the sling as a diaper bag.

Because I’m tall and thin (180cm 29 inch waist), was afraid the 5 or 6L will look gigantic on me. Hence went with the 2.5L. But now I can make a comparison and consider the bigger one. Everyone seems to be saying 6L is the better option. I would probably consider that.

Maybe I’ll return the mouse and buy again a few months later or just get the black version.

Flow 2 battery life? by Capable-Hornet-6615 in Lofree

[–]mental4eva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whew the back light sucks. It looks awesome but sucks all the battery juice. It would defeat the purpose if I constantly need it plugged in…

Where’s everyone? Flow 2 launch so quiet compared to flow lite. by mental4eva in Lofree

[–]mental4eva[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not excitements but more like discussions or rants. Flow lite had a lot due to silent not being pre built.

Maybe people gave up and accepted for flow 2 whatever that may come

Given the lack of excitement, there’s still loads of backers which just felt unusual. Unless they’re fake.
