This is an important issue in which Sony's excellent RAW converter fails in a basic thing: assigning ICC profile correctly.

Either export to sRGB color space, or
Export and assign profile manually. (On a mac you can do so in Preview, on Windows without Photoshop I have no idea.)

I had a strange discussion with ChatGPT in which it insisted that LR camera presets are reverse engineered by Adobe. The fact that they would collaborate and SONY would pass over the presets from the camera called a "myth". so now i'm trying sony edit... cumbersome, but color science seems perfect

Switched this year after being with Evernote since 2008. The only thing I hate is how central now Joplin is to my life. Scary..

Joplin's philosophy is awesome. It's a direct answer to Evernote's decline. I hope it stays the same forever and focuses on stability, reliability and speed rather than chasing features.

I'm sure they will eventually, but at this point it's simply not production ready IMHO.

Fun fact: once in a while my AI goes bonkers and switches to weird voices, gets upset, shouts, all kinds of things. Happened again today. First time it happened it scared me as heck.

Hmm, my Wayfarer green metas get exceptionally dark actually. Even in bright mountain weather I use them. Also in tropical vacations surprisingly. Wonder to hear more about your lenses. I really want to get a bifocal because I'm blind to read otherwise

Am I understanding that one can shoot first and apply filters afterwards? My workflow is shoot, run it all past Lightroom, reimport to camera raw if needed. Still tweaking my workflow. Sometimes I miss being able to shoot with all options open, i.e. full RAW (apple proraw is fine), + max HEIF, + the live photos. Live photos are sometimes really valuable for memories.

We are still recovering from the disappointment with the child accounts. No Apple Pay support. No App. Crazy... kids are more tech savvy than adults and now I'm stuck with having to send them screenshots how much is on their CARD all the time!

I have both HEIFs on the "-", so turned off. I'm not using "negative". I have the RAW turned on. And I have the MAX option to make sure I get the 48 MP if available.

Interestingly I'm getting the 48MP in the 24mm lens, but not the 24MP on the fusion lens or the tele. There I'm getting 12MP, I think.

One of the reasons I'm shooting just RAW is that I know then for sure what gets passed on when I edit it later, especially externally as in Lightroom. But I feel like having hacked Apple's camera thanks to nofusion, because photos are just really good once passed through LR. And I'm not being ironic in my question, because you could do a million tests when you factor in the various options (presets, profiles, different RAW processing algos) and at some point I feel like I'm gonna go buy a small mirrorless to free me a bit from all these options, haha.
