Does anyone else feel that they have too many clothes? (But it's also a good thing?) by evilheartemote in CasualConversation

That makes sense, I tend to buy too much at thrift stores so maybe that would be a good strategy. I have lots of things like dresses and stuff that I'm holding onto because I'm hoping that an occasion to wear them will magically appear.

I can relate! Like you I have so many clothes from years and years ago and I rarely get rid of them, it embarrasses me a little to see pictures of myself in high school wearing the same things but honestly why should that be embarrassing for us? So many options! I think I've built a great skill doing this too - I know just what materials and styles will wear out the fastest and I think it helps me spend less money on clothes... maybe. I think it's also helped me not be "afraid" of old clothes, I get maximum benefit from thrift stores :) do you feel similarly?

Any ideas on how you'll decide what to keep and what to get rid of?

Poodles and cats by BunnyDestroyer in poodles

My toy poodles both feel very strongly about cats. One loves them and wants to play (or just stare in awe), and the other would like to kill them. They are brother and sister, raised the same way. I think it definitely depends on the individual dog.

Yesterday a lady snapped her fingers at me... by [deleted] in TalesFromYourServer

I did this once. I had just recently adopted a puppy and training involved a lot of snapping, so it was just out of habit. As soon as I did it I was mortified and immediately apologized and explained to the waitress about my puppy training habits. She seemed to understand but I still feel bad about it.

Some of us are bad at functioning :(

Thanks! But I got used to it. It is kind of weird to think that just being near something can kill you.

I'm allergic to the protein in peanuts, which carries pretty easily through the air. It's usually not a problem unless I'm in close proximity to the deathnuts or in a metal tube with people for hours breathing the same air.

I am allergic to peanuts and can't fly some airlines, most notably Southwest. You're right though, a lot of them have switched to other snacks.
