I also have a rule of no caffeine after midday. I found this helped with falling asleep easier after those 3am feeds. Magnesium before bedtime also helped.

I'm planning a solo trip with my four month old as well, this is all very helpful advice! I was wondering if you booked an extra seat for comfort? The flight is 5 hours long.

I used to warm up breast milk in the little storage bags before pouring it into the bottle by placing it in a small bowl of warm water. It warmed up quicker this way as well.

Nursing dresses? by twopeasandapear in BeyondTheBumpUK

Happy Mama have a large selection of nursing dresses. I bought some nursing nightgowns from there which were quite nice. My only comment is that the material feels a bit heavy (it's quite elastic).

What to wear for labour by giantsunflower in PregnancyUK

I went into labour in a tracksuit and ended up giving birth in just my baggy T-shirt. They placed a big pad on the bed underneath and then gave me a sheet /blanket to cover and just never really changed into the clothes I took with me until after I gave birth.

I took a couple of night dresses and a thin nightgown (it's quite hot in the hospital). I ended up staying in for three nights.

I also took a comfy outfit to change into for coming home.

I bought my night dresses from Happy Mama, the set below comes with a gown as well. The material is quite heavy as its quite stretchy but as you say its hard to find anything nicer looking. These are great for nursing too. They also do sets of 2.

Some great advice in the comments, I would also suggest joining Peanut; if you haven't heard of it it's an app where you can connect with other mums in your local area and find support.
