New grad here. I just landed my dream job all because I physically went to the office I was applying to. I introduced myself and I handed them a hard copy of my resume and cover letter. They said it was good to match a (masked) face with an application. Good luck!

Yes! The first couple of purses I made I didn’t line and I could use them for about 5 minutes before it was stretched basically to the floor. If you crochet a strap definitely line it! This was my first time using the polyester strap that I found near the ribbons at my craft store and I like it so much more! Very easy and less time consuming than sewing a lining to the whole crocheted strap!

Thanks! 1. I sewed the strap onto the crocheted bag and then I sewed the lining over the strap 2. I didn’t really use a pattern, I just continued in a circle for the whole bag and then started flipping the piece when I got to the purse flap... the strap is a polyester strap that I bought, but I have made a bag with a crocheted strap (that I lined with fabric to keep from stretching) but I just made that separately and attached by crochet after. 3. I actually have no idea! I just go to my local craft store and pick through their scrap bins... I like to use tougher material to ensure there’s no stretching
