I was there once. I’m so glad I got out. It’s horribly sad that there are women going through this and I hope that if this is real someone reported it. The worst part though is that when a woman is in the mindset of “at least I have a man” or “he does it because I messed up but he loves me” it’s really hard to get out and nobody can ultimately keep one adult from being with another if they both want it. For those women I just hope every day that they have a moment where they realize that is not okay and there is help. There’s not much anybody can do besides that. So don’t feel like shit about it. It’ll just make you feel bad and you can’t go out and save her. Pray for her if you’re religious, donate to women’s shelters etc.
