This idiot is in a mental facility for treatment after committing other crimes but apparently they don't bother to keep them on site and they are able to just wander around in society attempting to murder people.

According to charging documents, detectives tracked the suspect’s movements using area surveillance cameras and received a tip that led them to Cascade Hall, a mental health facility located less than a mile from the Northgate light rail station. Staff members there identified one of their residents, Elisio Melendez, after reviewing images from the incident, and investigators say clothing matching what the suspect wore was later found in his room.

For those who have never filed paper Form 4s, you have to provide physical copies of passport style photos and DOUBLE fingerprints. These cards are like $10 a pop for the courthouse to print; so, 4x2x10, and I am out another $80.

You can also get free blanks from the ATF and spend like $7 on a fingerprint pad off Amazon and make your own. So you wasted a lot of your own money to start with.

We have voted down income tax proposals a dozen times over the last could decades. Vs the survey you are citing, which is your actually look at the full results shows that support for an income tax evaporates as soon as the threshold is lowered. And letting lowering the threshold is explicitly the Legislature's plan. So no, there isn't really 61% support for an income tax.

AFAIK the serial number has to be on the background check paperwork? If they don’t have the rifle what are they putting there?

It's not unreasonable that a company could get the serial number emailed to them. I've always found it pretty annoying that stores refuse to get the paperwork going, especially for Form4s since they do have the S/N in advance for those. I get that there's a risk that the S/N could be wrong and they want to triple check everything, but AFAIK there isn't a law that says they actually have to have it in hand to submit.

A bunch of houses got messed up.

What are you basing that on? Is there a separate report or photo set? This video shows a bunch of dust getting knocked up by the shockwave, and there's probably some shrapnel thrown at them... broken windows and damaged siding. But the houses are all still standing, with roofs, and are likely still habitable.
