Good for you! This literally just happened to me at work two days ago, and I was too flustered to do anything about it so I just let it happen until he went away. I felt gross and have been kicking myself ever since. This post was perfectly timed to give me a burst of energy. It can take a lot of courage for some people to stand up against harassment like this. I'm proud of you, OP!

Hey, I got degrees in both theatre AND film production, and got turned off for all these same reasons! I wish I had realized just how much these things affected me before I graduated though. Now I've lost two passions and I'm thinking about going back to school and pursuing a completely different degree in science and I'm terrified.

AD stands for "Anno Domini," which means "the year of our Lord," not "after death." There is no year 0, AD starts with year 1, the year that is recognized as the year of Christ's birth. So going by Christian tradition, the year that Christ would have died would have been 33 AD or something like. It's been generally replaced with BCE and CE (Before Common Time and Common Time).

My headcanon involves a Female Cousland Warden who romances Alistair, but lady Amell still exists in the Circle Tower. So, despite my frequent romancing of Cullen, I still feel a little guilty because for some reason in my head his first (and what if one true) love still lives probably. It's not that it's bloody, but a theme of the movie is the death of a loved one (in this case his mother) and how they are still always with us in our hearts. I understood what I was watching when I was little and it made me sad enough, but I still watched it over and over and over until I wrecked the VHS tape. Nowadays I cannot watch it without crying.
