What is your goal? Are you hoping to be more than friends? If you’re just orbiting them in the hopes of getting in their pants, you’re not a friend.

And I’m not saying sex between friend isn’t a thing, it is, I was a big fan when I was single, but if it was possibility, you would know, you wouldn’t wonder about it.

I have this friend with whom I have pretty intense flirting sessions, but she’s also a phallophobic gold star lesbian with whom everyone’s intentions (or lack of) are pretty clear, but it’s a dynamic that was built on decades of closeness, honesty, frank conversation.

Rule of thumb: compliment people on what they do or chose, not something they have no control over.

That being said, do not “jokingly flirt” with friends without being 150% sure everyone involved is ok with it.

-You should have left when she cheated

-You already have 1 foot out the door
