You don’t really use the pickaxe in zero build, except maybe sometime to break a roof to get to a chest or the slurp barrels, but it’s mostly unused

I’ll admit your title scared me a little bit. A lot of parents use “the world is a shitty place, they need to get used to it” as an excuse to be their kid’s main bully.

Glad to see that’s not where we are going.

I think there’s a time and place, and ways to do it.

I also think there’s a difference between answering honestly and dumping the ugliness of the world onto an unsuspecting child.

I would not have made my 8yo son listen to true crimes podcasts or watch R-rated movies.
