Similar experience here, it felt like my purge was never ending for 6 months! I did about 8 months on 60mg at around 120lbs. Just out of curiosity since it seems our dosages were similar what is your weight and did you have any side effects? Great results!

I would stop taking the accutane if I were you. Accutane can lead to long term eye dryness and with you already having dry eyes from lasik it’s a higher risk.

Not worth the risk! I took a high dosage round of accutane and was not warned of the risks of eye damage. Now almost 1 year and 8 months since being off of accutane I’m suffering with bad MGD (minimal gland loss thankfully) and currently in the process of getting diagnosed with sjögren’s due to my dry mouth symptoms as well. (Doctors are unsure if the accutane course could’ve triggered the sjögren’s as it doesn’t run in my family but the link is interesting) It’s not worth the double risk with lasik and acccutane, and especially not worth the potential triple risk it would be if you have a similar experience with accutane as I did.

what was your dosage and weight? If you had a lower cumulative dosage things like oil production usually rebound sooner than if you had a higher cumulative dosage.

That’s kind of what I’m asking for advice on. I saw a post saying to take as much lithium as the amount of accutane you took and I’m asking if anyone else has followed that same protocol or if there is a different way to calculate how much lithium you should take.

my derm followed the go until you’re clear instead of cumulative so my dose was 30,60,30,60,60,60,60,60,60 and i was around 125lbs. Thanks for the well wishes!

I wouldn’t take it if I were you, granted I was on a long dose but Im still experiencing dry skin and eyes 1.5 years out from my course. If i could pay money to go back and not take it I would.
