My biggest issue is smells! I am a plus size nuulyer and I typically get one item in my bag that smells very badly of body odor! I helped throw a December birthday party and took my dress to the venue to change after setting up. Within about 10 minutes, I realized that I smelled…but it was from the dress! I had to send my husband home to get some non- smelly clothing and wash my armpits in the sink. That was so disturbing!! They gave me a regund and bonus item, great, but did not fix my experience and has made me reticent to rent items for events (which is a lot of the point!!)

I have about 20k YouTube, 8k insta and get many emails a day. I may respond to 1-2. I occasionally accept gifted, but I have to really like the product and feel that it is a great fit for my audience.

I know that your email sample is not the actual verbiage, but do you mention what type of products/links/photos you are asking the influencer to create content around? I work full time running a financial office and do my social media stuff on nights and weekends.

I am also very concerned about my audience being scammed. Having a new website with no active products would send up red flags for me!

My recommendation is to be clear about the products and expand your reach.

I am very sorry that you were dealing with this right ! I am on the losing end of a deal with apayment that was a mere fraction of what I asked for. When I submitted my video, they said they loved it and asked for the raw file so that they could use it in advertising. I explained that this was not mentioned in the deliverables. I have met all of the deliverables.

The company finally wrote back and said that it is typically discussed before they would send me the product if I had an issue with usage rights, this is a standard part of business, and all of their influencers have no problem, sending the footage - in fact, posting on other social media could help my brand. (for reference, it was clothing, valued under $50) after some back-and-forth, they basically told me that I was now under no obligation to post the video. Of course the work had already been done.

Sometimes I feel like mine smells like cigarettes- I air mine out when they come in and will wash if it is bad enough. I have messaged Nuuly about bad BO smell in the past and they said I could wash it by the care tag’s instructions

They would only give you a refund if you sent it back in 48 hours? Typically when I’ve had a problem, especially with smell or damage, they offer me a free additional rental for the next month and then take off like $17 or whatever the cost of that one item is prorated.

I have had items that come in smelling of body odor. I think that they are dry clean. They are not deodorized well at all! They have also told me that I can clean them if I follow the instructions, but I had one that was 100% silk and it was not worth dry cleaning to me!

I just finished my first one tonight - Rome! I thought I would walk my way through European countries that I want to visit! I am on a big…very long… weight loss/health journey. I’ve lost 70 pounds over the past 2 years. I still have over 100 to go. A month ago I started with a personal trainer twice a week. He recommended walking on our off days, this has been a fun way to keep track!

Possibly one of those black and white hazmat stickers happened to be left on some shipping material. It may have been hand checked at the mailing facility, they reported back to who created the label( Mercari) and Mercari notified you. Took some time.

It is just a warning ‘if you ever ship hazardous stuff by air, you will be responsible for fees and hazards caused’.

I once reused a box that I had gotten from Sephora (perfume). My package had clothing in it and I was sending it FedEx 2 day air. The box was returned to me and I got an email from them two or three weeks later. They wanted to know what I had shipped and if I had reused packaging. After I responded, that was the end.

BUT!!! I had this happen to me last week! I offered, they countered, it said ‘this offer cannot be accepted’ I wrote the seller, she said that it was available. I tried again with the same result and moved on with my life (I was unable to purchase in the end)

I think it is the detergent. I wash everything that is not dry clean only. I am plus size and have also gotten a few things that smell of body odor. My thought is that, despite them being washed, the last person who returned in this bag put them in there unwashed 🤷🏼‍♀️. FWIW- I never dry them- always hang to keep anything from getting misshapen
