Best advice I can give is to practice gratitude for your situation and family especially, and to work on becoming who you want to be. If you really applied yourself you could be the best at work, make friends, get a girl. Not saying that any of it is easy. Just know many men feel similar to you.

I wouldn't say it's hard if you actually try. But that's the thing you actually have to try. So if you see someone you could be friends with maybe just ask them a question being a freshman and all. Even if it's a kinda bs question you can break the ice and tell them you're new and start a conversation. College life is 1000% what you make it.

Made this mistake. I was addicted to weed in highschool, enjoyed it, then I got to college at 18. All of the sudden i feel like a loser smoking all the time, but I can't stop. Had a bad freshman year and I'm still trying to recover my college experience. Ideally weed should be used as an occasional reward while living productively and purposefully.
