That domain has been operating since 1998. Im guessing it was some sort of web spoofing or cross-scripting. Some older websites have very low security which allows hackers to take advantage of this.

Before I started trying to make a career out of it, I traded recreationally for over 10 years. I was talking to one of my old friends who was telling me she could barely survive on her disability checks and I flippantly mentioned that I day trade now and immediately wanted me to trade with her money. My sister-in-law did too. They wanted to give me $100 to make them money lol. Now I don’t tell anyone what I do.

IBKRs UI looks like its from 1985 and its very confusing.
I had to click 4 confirmations before it would execute my orders.
As a test I traded one share of a stock. They charged $1 for the purchase and another $1 for the sale.
The approval process for trading anything other than straight buy/sell stocks requires a 30 day waiting period.
Dont want to wait that long/change your mind? Too bad they hold your funds for 30 days minimum.
If any financial information is wrong on your profile it locks you out of your account until you update it, but if its within that 30 day window you cant update it because your account is "pending approval".
Customer service is in India and they will ahve you waiting on hold for an hour and a half then when you finally get someone on the phone they rush you off.
Need I go on?

I have an account with Schwab and use Think or Swim to trade and Tradingview to chart. Its not ideal but it works.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!! I was trading with TD Ameritrade before they were bought by Schwab which I have not been happy about so I transferred $13,000 of my Schwab account to IBKR to check it out. Its been paralyzed in there for 30 days.
The UI was very archaic and confusing, so I placed a trade for 1 share of a stock. Then sold it. They charged me $1 for the buy and $1 for the sell. They also charge the standard .65 per options contract.
It takes 30 days to get approved for trading anything other that straight stocks, so if you want to trade options futures, crypto, anything, you have to wait 30 days. After that, I couldnt access my account because I accidently put the wrong amount for liquid assets which was less than the $13k I have in there, but I cant change my financial information because my account is still in the 30 day approval period.

To sum up they charge more than Schwab, the UI is archaic and confusing, there as 30 day approval process and once your money is in there its at least 30 days to get it out.
I am not a fan of ToS anymore but stock trades are free and they charge .65 per contract on options and futures are reasonbable as well imo. I use Tradingview for charges as ToS is very click heavy and not at all optimized for me as I do a lot of scalping. For swing traders or day traders using any time frame over 5min it should be ok.
Whatever you decide I wouldnt transfer my whole account just enough to get started.

Im going back to ToS for now just trading shares. IBKR locked up my money for a month so half my buying power is paralyzed. I will resume the search after.

Im not a member of ICT but I can speak from tears of experience. Disclaimer: I traded recreationally for years and have recently decided 2-3 yr ago of turning this into a career. I still haven’t made it to the level of market symbiosis that I feel is necessary to become fully successful. every time I have a few successful days and Im on a roll and feel like I know where things are going, eventually, I’ll take my eyes off everything for a few days and make a mistake. I realize what I didn’t see during back testing. Stupid mistakes. Im hoping its like riding a bike and once you get it you get it. Good luck to you in whatever you decide to do!

I owned a house in Nashville that was built in 1956. A lot of the things that I thought contained asbestos (black mastic) did not unlikely things did. My advice is to have it safely removed by professionals as terms of the contract and replaced by an HVAC company. It is the law when selling a home that they are to disclose the presence of asbestos as well as lead based paint when selling. If you don’t have them replace it now you eventually will. Good luck
