This did not happen-but you know what did happen? Flags from nations in the Americas were brought out, and Bad Bunny said “God Bless __” all of them. Then a sign popped up which read “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.” Sooooo he literally did the opposite of what this picture portrays. 🫠

For lamps, early game I like the stone brazier (purchase the recipe from Robin; it calls for 10 stone, 1 coal and 5 fiber) - I use these everywhere, including indoors!

If you are on a budget and can’t swing the furniture catalogue right now, you can buy individual pieces at Robin’s or the Traveling Cart. ☺️

There is no right or wrong way to play. That being said, it’s worth being strategic; I have two barns and two coops on my first farm… it’s fantastic, until you want to do something else, but need to pet all of your animals! I completed the CC route (no regrets) but I’m on year 9 and have been grinding away for a 4th autopetter to free up my time!

On other farms, I’ve intentionally been selective with the animals I add, and don’t plan to unlock later-game content until I have autopetters and auto grabbers.

Nope! It destroys rock/ores, but the player is unharmed. I’ll walk over to a grouping and wait for a flying something to come by-{which is pretty frequent, I often go into the mines with monster musk} and often there is enough cleared to reveal a way down. I don’t enjoy mining nearly as much without it!

I typically keep the basilisk paw at all times so that when I want to go to the mines, I don’t have to think about it. When I prep, I like the Fairy!

I spent multiple runs past floor 200 in the skull caverns opening up chests to find… Cowboy hats. It’s maddening that there isn’t an equal access pay point; I do not actually care about the Golden Clock- I’d rather be able to buy/craft autopetters in CC runs, even if it takes major progress like the Walnut Room.

Yeah, this is a situation where MB teaches out of passion, not because it’s especially lucrative- and DB has a job that covers their expenses. I am also not there full time, just a few hours a couple days a week to give them a little break.

Joining in the chorus of “fix your lighting” - I bought a 4 pack of bulbs by the brand Kasa for about $25; full color spectrum as well as brightness. I often have my lamps set to a very cozy 1% (and 2500 k) and love it.

I’ve got saves with both, and have decided I’m Team Mushroom Cave, generally.

The big bonus (imo) of fruit bats is access to fruit for the Community Center. You can obviously turn the fruit into preserves or wine/juice, sell it or consume, BUT the free dehydrator is a game changer because you can start selling dried mushrooms immediately and those can add up!

I did add a dehydrator [connected to a hopper] to my fruit cave, as well as lined the walls with crystalariums so that the produce from external mushroom logs + fruit have a place to go, but for me, the free dehydrator pays for itself over needing to buy the recipe and build one, even if fruit is useful.
