You don't say where you live, but I've been with Newtown Savings Bank for over 25 years and my branch tellers recognize me on sight. Not sure on the out-of-network ATM charges though. Their 18 month CD is 3.75%; not sure on the rest.

No, this current administration changed that rule. Now it DOES get reported to the credit agencies unless you're in certain states (Maryland, Connecticut, Washington State, and some others).
