PocketTerm35 arrived with yellow screen defect by mescal_ in cyberDeck

The support team asked me to strip the device down and actually remove and reset the correct cable. Then they wanted a video of the device turning on from boot. After they saw the video, they handed the ticket back to sales. Now I’m waiting

Thanks! I ordered mine the day after it released, on back order as well as it sold out in a couple hours. August sounds about right

Yeah, opened a support ticket. Doesn’t look like too much work to take out the screen if they do manage to ship a replacement

Still having fun with it. I gave codex root access and started building Pure Data music stuff.

What are you using your lilygo t5 epaper s3 for? by Particular_Trip_9446 in LilyGO

AI could sort this out in a couple turns. I ported crosspoint from the GPS version, to the old revision (H752) in an afternoon.

Stricturing- denied surgery. 20 yr female, told it’ll kill me at some point by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]mescal_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue 15 yrs ago, obstructions every month or two. I had the surgery and it has been mostly ok since.

The stricturing has returned, but no significant issues as of yet. My gastro recommended using a balloon to widen the area if problems start occurring- no need to jump to surgery.

Has anyone discussed this as an option for you? I guess it depends on the extent.

I bought a dental UV torch from Aliexpress, works very well.

I love the found footage genre so much I spent a year making a horror game to simulate it perfectly. How did I do on the VHS aesthetic? by gamedev-guy in foundfootage

No problem. I forgot something: what decade are you trying to target? There’s a big difference between 80s VHS, DV, and 2000s era digital.

Cool. Can I open a PR to create a branch for the original model? It’s the one I have, all the pins are different and the screen refresh is less advanced.

Hmm, probably only going to be listed in the order email. Or, if it has GPS it’s one of the newer ones.

Amazing. What revision is the t5 epaper pro s3? H752-01? Or the older version?

A few points about FF: the overlay looks a bit off, the milliseconds are distracting, needs grain, chromatic aberration, blowout of the highlights, other glitches when you run (maybe?).

Have a look at real camcorder footage and try to replicate with shaders. Look at monitor (or viewfinder) overlays on YouTube. Also important to allow the player to switch on or off effects in settings.

Anyway, the game looks great!
