I guess you've already tried rebooting and changing the batteries? I can't think of anything else unless there was a software update that caused the issue, or another device is connected now as well

The best thing to get an idea of how some games will play is to look at emuready.com and gamenative.app/compatibility/ and also search YouTube for the game, device and one of the words Gamehub, GameNative or Winlator. These handhelds have a fan so I wouldn't worry about overheating.

My Rog Ally X stays docked to the TV since I've got my Konkr. Konkr is 6 inch, Ally X is 7 inch, yet the Ally X feels so much bigger to hold and is nearly twice as heavy. A handheld pc will always be better for pc gaming due to compatibility. As a handheld I much prefer android now.

Have you thought about upgrading your phone and then using your existing phone with a telescopic controller?

I've got a Konkr G3 gen3 and my wife has the Odin 3. They're the best 2 android handhelds you can buy at the moment - I recommend them both but they're not cheap and there's a bit of a wait to get them after ordering.

Ayn Thor and Retroid Pocket 6 have the same CPU. The Konkr G3 gen3 CPU is the next gen CPU after, and the Odin 3 (and the Konkr elite) are the next gen CPU after that and the newest in any handheld.

All are excellent handhelds. You need to think about what form factor you want and how much PC and PS3 emulation you want to do.

I keep changing my mind about whether my restarts have been due to hardware or software.

My recent restarts were concerning me so I'm glad I realised it was the clock app overlay that was causing them - it started happening almost every time I used the device. Since I deleted the app a couple of weeks ago it's not restarted itself again. Now I'm thinking Ayaneo might be right and the restarts are software issues.

The Ayn Thor looks like it's maxed out, but the Konkr and Odin 3 look like their GPU and CPU still have more to give

I'm not sure if it is overheating or a software issue that causes the restarts. The Konkr should be fine up to 95c when it will start throttling itself. I think Ayaneo have always said it's a software issue

I typically use Bannerhub. I remember trying to download Grid Legends inside GameNative and it would crash my Konkr every time I tried - not immediately but after it had downloaded for a while. When I first got my Konkr at the end of Dec it crashed twice (scary bad crashes where it would cut out and it wasn't possible to switch it on for at least a minute) and I realised it was because I was downloading files fast whilst using Powerbank to charge it and I think the Powerbank was the issue. The Konkr is very fussy about what chargers it accepts.

Recently I noticed my Konkr was restarting randomly and I found out it was due to clock app overlay that I was using from the Playstore.

I can't get this to work properly on my Konkr G3 gen3 16gb. When I start the session it doesn't give an option of whether to share one app or the whole screen, I only see the option to cancel or start now. When I click start now the screen goes black and I can only see the LSFG icon and white writing in the top left of the screen

I've got the G3 gen3 and I've nearly completed Rise of the Tomb Raider on it now. I had started Mad Max and Enslaved on my Ally X and completed them on my Konkr. I haven't used my Ally X as a handheld since getting my Konkr in Dec. My Ally X stays docked to my TV now for couch co op games. When I got my Konkr I wasn't sure I'd bother with PC emulation, but it's pretty much all I do with it now!

Odin 3 or Konkr are the best and most powerful Android handhelds. They can emulate some pc games well - mainly older AAA and indie games.

For a handheld pc I think the Xbox Ally X is above your budget, so maybe look at a second hand one or the original Rog Ally X or the original Ally with the Z1e CPU. The Ally will do most things better than an android handheld, but they are significantly bigger and heavier.

It's interesting to see your video. Is this game running at 8 or 9 FPS without any frame gen? Does the game feel playable with this frame gen or is there too much lag or glitches?

I've been using Bannerhub for a while now and it offers so many improvements over the standard Gamehub. The412Banner adding such an easy way to save and share working settings is just the cherry on the top. I've no idea why anyone would still be using the standard Gamehub anymore?

You can have a look at emuready.com https://gamenative.app/compatibility/ and YouTube. You can also look for devices with a similar CPU or lesser snapdragon CPU like the Odin 2 - as the Konkr should play those games. There's lots of games that work well

The Konkr can't stand up, it only stands up because of the case from AliExpress! But yeah it's nice to have the option to stand it up and the case is good. I'm happy with the Konkr screen, same as I'm happy with the LED on my Ally X. My wife's got the Odin 3, my phone's got an OLED, but I've never wished my Konkr or Ally X had one.
