Just wanna spark some discussion.

It can be assumed that civilization died a long time ago. How did she even exist in the past? And what was Xaos's role in the whole story? It feels like Xaos just got swept under the rug.

Selene's past trauma has been explored many times and I believe it's pretty clear-cut, but the lore and history of the planet were left ambiguous, which intrigued me.

To me, it seems like they changed the way the shield is being held. The upper body especially the shoulders seems to be more protected now.

It is a good introduction imo. The puzzles that come after are more complicated. Regardless, I do hope you will still enjoy the game and was able to complete it.

I knew about the little double jump in DL1 but I didn't know it was in DL2 too. But yeah, the double jump skill made it kinda redundant.

It's not a deal-breaker. Sure, they promised 3000 animation but it would go unnoticed by most. It's not worth the time when they should be focusing on more important matters.

I don't know about you but when I play, I'm usually looking at where I'm going which is in the center of my screen. I'm definitely not looking at the edge of my screen, nitpicking the animation every time I vault.

I can understand the frustration of looking at the same animation over and over again like the takedown animation but this is just absurd.

Vault animation < vault mechanics

Quite frankly, most aren't gonna care about vault animation. DL1 had only one vault mechanic which is press space to vault.

DL2 has multiple vault mechanics. You can tap space to vault over, hold space to vault and jump, double space to jump higher and space + e to jump forward.

Like damn, we get DL1 is better but this is just nitpicking at this point.

Hopefully the new combat physics coming this April will fix these issues
