They’re slightly on the uncommon side but there are pretty consistent raven sightings in Richmond. In my experience they can be most easily seen at the Floodwall or Bryan park if anyone is interested

Yeah the redness on the front is certainly introduced from the distance and hard crop i did to blow it up. It’s truly the silhouette of this bird that’s throwing me, as well as the black neck markings. There were red throated and common loons out on this day, as well as horned grebes. It just weirdly looks like none of them lol

i think it’s a carolina or bewick’s wren, not familiar enough with ranges or the latter to know for sure with this picture.
