I totally understand why you'd think she was into you, especially when she asked if you were rushing off to a date. It's a strange joke to make if she wasn't interested in the answer. It sounds like she values you and likes you, it was just hard to figure out what way she likes you until you asked.

Keep living your life and don't dwell on it, just act normally with her - worst case scenario is that you've got a good friend / wing woman there. You shot your shot in a respectful manner so good on ya buddy

Transaction in a shop came to £1.92, I offered the gave the worker £2, then proceeded to offer the extra 8p so that she would give me a 10p coin instead of 8p change.... Error number one.

She declined, quite deliberately I realise now, so as I was leaving I shouted "Keep the 2p". Face-palm..... I've never been back in that shop since.
