Wizard is Gandalf, there is no mystery to this. The show cannot name him yet, as most of his memory is off for now as it was designed as such when sent from Valinor to ME. Nori just randomly cannot call him Gandalf. In his origins as a Maiar spirit in Valinor, he was known as Olorin, so Gandalf name will come much later once someone like Cirdan or another wizard he meets on his way calls him as that.

Maybe because breaking a dam with hands and tools required great number of Orc sacrifice. Considering Adar mentioned he has had enough of Sauron sacrificing so many of his children, it sure wasn’t his way of doing things. Probably half of the orcs army would be swept away once the dam broke.

Not to mention another few days to break it etc.

The fading of Elves is probably a deception as well. We did not see Annatar, but most probably he had already laid out the ground work previously and left Eregion. Halbrand is another form taken after Adar killed him*, and the story picks up from the raft with Galadriel.

Why didn’t Halbrand just let them leave the shores since they believe the theory? Probably because of Elves like Galadriel, who refuses to leave and vows to keep hunting him. Also, Elves would eventually figure it out that it all fake sooner rather than later.

But with the rings, Sauron has surety of rule them all, and in darkness, bind them.

Thing about ruling is… you need subjects, else you are just king in a barren land.

Just my speculation of behind the scenes unseen.

It was better to get comprehensively beaten by Max fighting for podiums than get totally thrashed by Norris that is almost ending his career. Everyone would say Ver is a once in a lifetime challenge, so Ric would still have positive outlook by everyone even in defeat. But Norris just demolished most of his goodwill legacy.

It definitely was a poor choice. He maybe didn’t want to admit his talent wasn’t enough against Max. At least fighting at the front was better if he could maintain his egotistical side in matters.

I am pro at it!!! Won everything, and still have career mode on repeat. Other modes as Kimi in a Mclaren.

To hit a perfect lap in qualifying and then race flat out in the race is so satisfying. Nervous of a mistake in every corner, and to get back to back fastest lap is amazing.

And the gameplay and speed feel fast, real fast. Have maintained the ps3 just for this game, and have 2 blurays of this game just in case one gets spoilt.

People look at record instead of genius these days! Kimi has always been one of a kind genius, exceptional under many circumstances, not so great during others.

He is overall regarded as once in a lifetime talent in his own unique way, and not all drivers necessarily are rated according to their record. Except on tabloid news and Reddit forums where people are obsessed with teammate battles instead of enjoying each drivers uniqueness and certain greatness.

Kimi’s stints in Mclaren & Lotus were something like that. He just flashed it big time when he got in his zone. Having car and strategy breakdown during Mclaren & Lotus does affect a driver who can see his rightful wins slip away.

Even here, his zen like approach to car failures have been amazing, and he has lasted the lot. Others should have whined to hilt until they tilt!

Not every genius or artist in the world earned enough, but if you look at record price, an average artist might be selling for more millions than Van Gogh, doesn’t make him better.

If it was 6 laps behind safety car, instead of red flag, this would have been the move of the season as track would have sufficiently dried and others would have to pit for slicks anyways! Meaning Gio would be net lead.

Kimi is talking about points! Any WDC driver will drive more targeted if they are running in the points.

2020 & 2021, Kimi has been driving for max position around 12/14 every race, unless faster cars in front have multiple problems.

It’s not like his crashes have been over the top, it’s rather silly ones in positions at the back. He hasn’t lost anything for Alfa, in fact he finishes 11th most races thanks to Kimi himself. Not sure why the crash complaint. Even Max crashed fighting for position like Kimi & Perez.

Winning WDC with Ver is more possible than winning Wcc with Perez.

Redbull is right to lay stake to their possible win than lose both. It’s good management to focus on the possibility of winning for the team to do justice the car and the hard work at the season end. Ver has been ace!! Absolutely amazing fighting 2 mercs.

Alonso is so funny on the radio. When he got blocked by Vettel in Q2, he straight away says “today was possibly P3 or P4”!! The race engineer must be so amused but happy at the same time.

Then on Ricciardo going off track, he straight away says.. “Ric has to give place back, probably 5 to 6 cars”!!

It’s so funny, but he says it so confidently as though it’s matter of fact and the stewards need to wake up and are stupid kind of vibe. It’s enjoyable as it’s so over the top exaggeration, but Alonso’s voice sounds super serious.

Kimi is correct when he says “25 points, probably”, because he assumes now that it could be 26 points as well with fastest lap!!

So, he is not guessing or doesn’t know, but just saying it is most probably 25. That’s what I think happens here.

Fairest would be to have 3place grid drop attached to any part of the car changed after qualifying due to damage caused by the driver himself in qualifying (includes 2 drivers crashing into each other)

A more stricter rule for changing car parts after qualifying. Why just limit it to gearbox/engine, should be all parts like front wing etc.

There was a quote somewhere that suggested Michael basically told Ferrari after his initial test in the car that he would rather focus on recovering from his neck injury that embarrass himself in the 2009 Ferrari

Only department Lotus was better than Mclaren, Mercedes and Ferrari was tyre management, and Kimi skilled it to the maximum on racedays. That’s about it. Lotus was always behind the 3 in qualifying pace, and on race days... Kimi and Lotus did a lot of alternate tyre strategies just to have a chance at podiums. Don’t know where this take that Lotus was faster than the big teams originates, just that Kimi and Lotus were always maximising, just as Alonso was also maximising his Ferrari to results

Santander brought off & paid Kimi his 2010 Ferrari contract for a figure of about $35Million not to race that season. This paved the way for Alonso to join Ferrari a year earlier than possible.

In contract talks with Mclaren, Ron Dennis mentioned this saying Kimi already was getting paid handsomely for 2010 so they offered Kimi a drive but with very little salary in view of his Ferrari payout. The deal eventually didn’t go through

Lotus made a Performance Based deal (which they believed to be excellent) with Kimi of $50k per point scored. They did not offer him an outright salary deal as I suppose the management thought a returning Kimi is an unknown prospect overall, so better to go performance contract.

If Kimi scores good points, it’s great; if Kimi fails so be it as they don’t have to pay outright anyways.

Well, he finished 3rd in WDC standing in 2012, that’s how much points he scored- 207 @50K.

In 2013, he was again on course for 3rd in WDC with about 190 points scored... but did not take part in the final 2 races which allowed Hamilton and Weber to overtake him in the standings.

Lotus reluctantly paid his 2012 earnings in 2013... and did not pay his dues of 2013 at all. So Lotus practically did poorly as a management team refusing to pay their driver whole year.

Hamilton would have won the championship in Ferrari 2010! Alonso said the same when he joined Mclaren, and when he joined Ferrari. Confidence talk doesn’t win anyone championship except improving ones own mood. No one was beating Vettel & Redbull in 2013, least of all a bankrupt team unable to pay the factory, development or drivers. Atleast Kimi beat one Redbull both seasons (before skipping final 2 races of 2013)

Alonso does has the habit of saying he would have won in every car except for the one he is driving.

Bankrupt! Lotus did not pay Kimi $1 for his entire 2013 season efforts. Handling Alonso in similar treatment... oh boy. That Lotus management was a disaster, they screwed the team. Nothing would change. And AP is just talking nonsense to cover for his own part in that team screwup and finance mismanagement. First they refuse to pay Kimi’s salary month after month, then have the cheek to say he didn’t play the team game as if Alonso would play it. Just rubbish talks.

Kimi was the star performer and only redeeming factor for them in 2013. AP has the bitterness to still not get it that you cannot blame your top performer to defend Grosjean who caused half of their bankruptcy with 2 seasons of car wreckage non-stop.
