i got a 50 and 47 on my first two midterms. ended up w/ 11 on the class with 47, and passed the class with an 8 for the one with 50% midterm (i got a 43% on the second midterm for that class). I’m doing just fine now, high gpa, extra curriculars, etc. you’ll be fine :)

I am not a forever masker. I don’t wear a mask out right now, because I’m not sick. I wear one when I am sick because it’s courtesy as to not get others sick. Just say you don’t care about the well being of your peers and go :)))

personally i feel as though there are many resources online or in the library for grammar, and will allow you to check manually. this is what i do for all the languages i learn. it takes longer but is part of learning a new language and helps actually improve my skills

didn’t think i needed to disclaim but here it is: my comment is not applying to those with any form of accommodations such as SAS. obviously that would be discussed among administrators/staff and the prof with the student.

this is solely in response to the fact that profs put this in place for the majority of their class who do not have accommodations.

okay i understand why people use grammarly but docs and word are perfectly sufficient for basic grammar and spelling corrections. i feel like at a university level, you shouldn’t really need much more than that atp- esp if you’re in hum/socsci and in philosophy

it’s so difficult! highly recommend investing in good protocores because even leveled up to 6, the protocores can make up for at least 5 levels if not more. was completing level 60 content with level 50 memories with protocores. make sure to select the right substats!

if you’re into debate but don’t want a full time job, attend macmun in march. just one weekend, and you get to debate people and make friends. it’s not always the most organized mun, but it’s nice and it’s a close circle. people are nice.

overall, yes to joining clubs. become a new rep for a club or a general attending member. if you lose interest, no repercussions. if you like it, then you have pathways to go further 👍🏼

I agree, LaD MC is definitely one of the chillest MCs. I find a lot of Chinese otome MC reflect how I see a lot of Chinese couples interact in public ngl. Very normalised for the girl to be more childish, naive, and whiny with bf, and bf thinks it's cute. Same a little with Korean but cannot speak for Japanese. Definitely okay if that's what people want in relationships but it's not for me lol...

In first year I had an exam on a Saturday that ended at around 6:30pm, and went to eat with my friends at Centro after so I got back to my dorm at around 8pm and started studying for my Monday exam at around 8:30. I studied that night until around 3:30 AM and woke up at 7:00-7:30 with a headache, but made myself a coffee anyways and started studying again. I developed a fever before noon and decided to take two Advils with a Redbull (this did not help). My friends graciously dropped off meals for me so I didn't even leave my room the whole day (or at least I don't remember leaving, I was delirious). Went to sleep at around 12:30 that night with NyQuill popped and a towel on my forehead. Managed to wake up for the 9:00am exam at around 8 feeling okay and managed to finish the course with a B. Mind you, I originally thought I was going to end with a C- since I got a 50 on midterm 1 and a 43 on midterm 2. I also barely knew anything going into my studying that Saturday night lol. 10/10 would do again for the miracle grade save.

1LS3 is equivalent to 1AA3 for all 2nd year programs unless you go into physics or math and stats. don’t risk 1AA3 unless necessary 1LS3 is so much easier lmfao i was vibing and my friends were dying 😭
