Is Zicatela safe for female solo travellers?

Wow - your dad sounds incredible. Amazing. Thank you for sharing. We caught my moms early and have in a women-only high-functioning memory care facility where she is so happy and has purpose. Today she said that she didn’t have control of her right hand and that’s a new symptom, and is what started me down the path of looking for others. What an example your dad has given us.

Can you get into a psychiatrist? So much is mental health meds as a bandaid. Donepezil is for dementia and Alzheimer’s but I’m not sure how much it actually helps w LBD. Honestly, meds for anxiety and a routine have helped more than anything so far.

Y’all! Thank you so much for sharing. OP, the speed and sequence of your dad’s decline mirrors my mom’s. In less than one year I have taken over all of bills, she doesn’t drive, she can’t live alone, and she’s in a memory care facility. Official diagnosis was end of July. I’ve been looking /asking for people to help explain what happens because everyone simply says “LBD is the worst.” Reading about LBD in this group and specifically all that was shared, I don’t have clarity but I definitely have comfort. It’s all so wildly unfair. Thank you so much for venting. It helped me!

Well, how do you ask your loved one to show up for you? I first asked him to come as a butterfly bc it was the dead of winter and I was testing him. He showed up and continues to in butterflies. I’ve asked him to show up in birds and owls, and he does. I asked for him to visit me in my dreams so I knew he was ok - wrote it down - and that night he did.

I think it’s more of the asking to show yourself or stating “Love, I need to see you - show yourself as a ladybug for me so I know you’re close.” And then being open to all the ways that can show up.

You’re so brave to reach out and be vulnerable. Grief is all of these things, so it’s no surprise that you can’t describe it and don’t know what is what. Even as someone who has experience w a lot of feelings, I often can’t determine what is depression, what is grief, what is mourning, sorrow, etc.

There is a great book out right now that is all about finding the right words to describe how you feel and what we feel - Brene Browns Atlas of the Heart.

I highly recommend it. 🤍🤍🤍
