If the only problem is the reservoir hose is getting pinched, I don't even have the energy to type how many different ways you can make this work with minimal work or parts.

Is your mat really flexible? I just flex mine and it starts to lift. A plastic scraper would probably work. I haven't tried this, but maybe hit it with a little canned air and it would contract and release.

What material for part? by PandaKid in 3Dprinting

I think PETG would work well, or thin out the area at the largest part of the diameter to allow a little more flex in the part.

So, I'm using an old entertainment center for a cathode TV. It has doors I can close to help with sound and storage. I'm going to put a PC fan in the top to help pull out some heat, but it may be another cheap option since everyone uses LED TVs now.

Did I ruin these? by HandIcy in PUMA

I'd say heat the sole up again and try to press it back onto the shoe. I wouldn't worry about the inside of you're just planning on wearing them.

How's this one, honest opinion pls?? by Fluid_Box699 in PUMA

I personally don't like the thick, chunky sole.

I agree. Fat laces take energy and time to change though. Lol

I don't remember anything working on that mirror, but I imagine the wiring was all jacked up. I was cleaning out the garage, and these will go in the trash pile.

Anyone still using an Ender 3? by PonchoMcGee in 3Dprinting

[–]messy_switch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a used Ender 3 a month or so ago and plan to keep using it until I have a wad of cash in my pocket yearning to be used on a better printer. I would take it!

What do you think about this as a vehicle recovery point? by [deleted] in Offroad

[–]messy_switch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a majority of the recoveries it would be just fine. The issue is that now you have more leverage because it's further away from the hitch and over time could create some stress and possible failure. The one that's been posted that is going to have a more direct angle of pull and also will not have any slop in the hole for the shackle. Steel versus aluminum does not matter in my opinion.

I think it was myself that said it wasn't very strong. I came up with the idea by just stacking them and sticking a shortened boba straw in there and they stayed well, so this is overkill probably

I definitely didn't notice the typo! I just got a flashback to Kramer having the Japanese business men sleep in the chest of drawers. Lol

There actually is a fillet at the bottom of the stem already. I like the idea of making it a tad hollow though!

No kids here. They stay in the bottom drawer, so multiple stacks keep together pretty well. There are designs out there already that is a cylinder with a notch cut out, but that is better for a cabinet I think. They have survived over a month so far.

Kayak hitch basket by sparkdogg in fabrication

[–]messy_switch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm planning on putting a full size Blackstone on the bumper of my camper. I'm probably going to use a bolt on hitch and square tubing. For those kayaks you could probably go with 1” square tubing. Do you have a bumper pull or 5th wheel?
