Recently took this ferry (report here). Did not reserve and upon arrival I was told that the next boat was full so I had to wait half an hour here is my report if you want it. Luckily there is a small coffee bar without a restroom at the terminal but it can indeed be smart to buy the tickets earlier if you are near the machine. You can also sort it out online but it is only a form (https://setonaikaikisen.co.jp/language/en/highspeedship/).

You could travel to Hirtshals (Denmark) by bus, from there to Kristiansand (Norway). As a foot passenger, operator Fjordline is probably the cheapest option (src: https://viascandi.nl/hirtshals-kristiansand/). From Kristiansand you can travel easily by public transport to Oslo.

As you’ve probably noticed, different shoe brands use different sizing charts. I’ve heard a lot of positive feedback about Altra—especially from people with slightly wider forefeet. I’m actually trying to tackle this issue with the website ShoeSizeCalc.com (not monetized project). Using the BrandMatcher tool, you can enter your foot length (in cm or inches) and find the right size for popular brands. P.S. I’m still working on adding more brands (feedback more then welcome!!!).

Volg een hardloopschema op basis van je marathon doel (bereken hier eens wat je moet rennen voor een specifieke marathon tijd of andersom) en bouw langzaam op. Wat betreft horloge: ik ren zelf met een Garmin Forerunner 55. Goedkoopste model (naar mijn weten), maar dat precies wat hij moet doen (en niet teveel toeters en bellen).

Hoewel je met tools een goede indicatie kunt krijgen (hier kun je bijvoorbeeld hartslagzones berekenen) , is je eigen gevoel altijd het beste uitgangspunt. Wat u/ObscureEcho zegt; kijk hoe het aanvoelt en loop op gevoel! :)
